So, as you know, no iray just 3delight render, and I can't go overboard with shaders, sky domes, or models. I will be going with genesis 3, low poly environments. It will be a renpy game, sandbox corruption, and futa, I will not be adding any male or girl for the protagonist. Now why I am saying this, I am saying this because I want you to decide the time this game is taking place in it can be future, past, present or you can be specific with the era, who my character is, I mean what role she plays ( is she a queen, alien, superhero, mage, witch, or something totally made up) and how many characters you need (please don't give obscured numbers)
I will pick the most liked one and one person can only decide on one aspect of the game. So if you chose what era it is, you cant choose what her character will be.
I hope you like my way of doing things and don't worry if you don't get to choose this time, I will be taking this advice for every update.

I have uploaded a masturbation video it's not the end product just a prototype

Have you looked at Fillament? It's lighter than Iray and looks way better than Delight.

My animation is filament
You can do better than that with Fillament.
Read about how you need to change materials ( If they are Iray Materials, you need to change them to PBR ), read how the lights work in Fillament, hair shaders, etc...
Look at this, done with Fillament.

I did and it looks shit
have you adjusted the exposure setting. Filament lets a lot more light into the camera than iray, that's why it looks so washed out by default. Adjust the tonemapping and it will look better.
as for your initial question, visuals are important but graphics aren't the end all be all. Take a game like The Writer Visits for example. It uses Virt-a-mate and not that well tbh, but it's hot because of the dialogue, situations and the framing and set up of the scenes.

you may have trouble using some of the gens assets designed for Iray with Filliment, but i don't know a ton about it tbh.
FYI This is a good short post about real world lighting and applying that to DAZ the guy talks a bit about filliment in the comments too

just as another FYI here is an example of what fillament looks like with the default exposure setting of 13 and then with it set at 15. You can see the default washes out almost all of the detail while 15 you can see the shadows and skin details. This is just the basic default lights too better lighting would further increase the quality
