Addicting and fun gameplay mixed with great artwork and a sweet romantic story. You play as a human sorceress with a furry kink who traverses a pyramid dungeon three nights in a row, challenging the various denizens to a dice based mini game. The goal is to seduce and romance the Anubis-like king who rules the dungeon. The gameplay is simple to learn, but with enough challenge to master. Each turn you roll 2d6 dice and you can either save the dice you rolled, thus stockpiling the total rolled number, or play them against your opponents. The number you play against the opponents is subtracted from their health. However, the dice the enemy plays goes up against whatever you play; if you throw down a 6 and they throw down a 5 , the enemy blocks 5 points of damage and only takes 1 damage. In this way you are both attacking and defending at the same time. You want to play big numbers to whittle your enemy's health down, but also have enough stockpiled to defend against enemy attacks. There are also random power ups you can gain to give yourself an advantage.
The artstyle is good and the gameplay is, again, deceptively fun, albeit with a certain degree of RNG grind involved. Even with a good strategy and well-chosen powerups you are at the mercy of random dice rolls. The last couple of boss fights especially can see you needed to replay the fight over and over.
My only major complaints are that there isn't more content and that there a handful of gameplay changes that could be made to improve the experience. The game's story plays out over three nights, as I said, and there is 0 adult content over the first night's story. There are only a total of 7 or so adult scenes (including both the "good" and "bad" endings) with many of them being optional. But that does mean you can see all of the content here in a single playthrough. Also, there are a handful of issues with gameplay and UI. For one, it is way too easy to accidentally leave the game's "store" where you can pick up free powerups that are crucial during the final boss fights. This can put you at a severe disadvantage if you make that mistake. Thankfully, if you do have your powerups but still keep losing in a fight the game gives you the ability to swap out powerups for different choices after 2 or so losses so that you can change to a winning strategy. Second, the final boss is very tough and I lost against him a good ten times before winning for the "good" ending. Both endings are super well done, but the romantic good ending is better in my opinion. Unfortunately, if you lose against the boss you don't get a good option to skip back to the beginning of the fight without playing out the entire "bad" ending over and over. It is hot, but that many times gets repetitive.
Overall, a good game that just left me wanting more. I hope they continue with this theme, gameplay, and characters/setting in the future.
