Certainly it's a useful info when you're trying to negotiate your contract with a company . Hence several corporations would actively try to prevent workers there from sharing this info . This is basic market information asymmetry issue look for joseph Stiglitz ( nobel prize winner ) work on the subject . now you have a good reason not to say that statement ever again ?Why is it needed?
I've never heard one good reason why anyone needs to know how much someone is making.
When people are paying someone for product with Pateron model , isn't a valuable info to know how much he is getting paid for the product he is getting out ? . Should i judge someone making a shitty game for free , and someone getting 100 dollars per month of donations . and someone making 10 k + per month on similar scale .
Some of us with limited resources would rather support a good that isn't making that much money , over someone who's making above the average for Patreon
