If My Heart Had Wings (IMHHW): Snow Presents is delivering a "comfy read", and a different type of visual presentation. Comfy read ties to the happy ending of the couple, and the bliss they enjoy in the "most wonderful time of the year". The aesthetics have 3 typings: Standard VN; Animated physics on sprites (pseudo-2.5D) and full 3D (objects/space) sequences, as you might find in video games***. Personally, there's no need to be a fan of Kotori to read this (mine was Amane), because it has the same "feel good" principle behind most pure love titles. Try it if you liked the parent story.
Positive:
- A VN that lost inspiring factor, but still has delightful going for it; Lots of visual resources, and detail (engaging presentation); The duck is here in "glorious" 3D (fans of the duck will be pleased); 18+ also has some animations, and provides enough quantity/quality; Kotori's youthful exuberance, and heartfelt theatrics are fine. She is a cool "biuchi".
Negative:
- Intrusive TL (walls of text, repetitive mentions, personal remarks); Episodic nature on a short duration VN, doesn't work for me; And even though they are providing value, this ends (100%) way too quickly (probably not worth it for a "general audience").
Score: 7/10. With the duration extended by a couple of hours, the score would be increased. This is more IMHHW, for people who want that. If Kotori was your favorite in the original this gets better (probably), but that's not a requirement. Recommended, try reading it in the appropriate season.
