Impressive game, well worth the time.

It's been a few years since having played this, but it's one of those 'difficult to forget' ones.

Story - Ambitious af. It's like someone took every single possible theme they wanted to touch on and mashed them all together... and somehow it works. It's actually amazing. I wasn't sure I'd keep buying in after the first big narrative shift, but man was the entire thing ever a page-turner.

Gameplay - Overall decent, but does unfortunately fall into some of the usual pitfalls of the genre. The grinding aspect isn't actually that bad compared to some similar games, but it does exist. Battles themselves are alright, but sadly not as interesting as they first appear. I never really hated playing them or anything, but there were certainly times where long stretches of fights could throw off the pacing of the story.

Scenes - Solid enough. The positive is that this game hits on a lot of different emotions and all of the H scenes really reflect that. The negative(?) is that it also sticks with many of the older H-game character tropes and fetishes, some of which may be tiresome to those who have seen them played out dozens of times.

Music - Have to give a special note here. A decent chunk of the music is pretty standard VN/RPG stuff that works well enough, but some tracks... well, it's like they handed some outdated recording software to a musical genius and had them go ham. A few tracks set an unforgettable mood.

Overall, while not a perfect game or anything, the story and atmosphere are far enough ahead of the curve to warrant recommending highly for anyone who enjoys those things as much as they might the 'scenery'.

I had no idea that a porn game could turn out to have such an incredible story. The themes are quite deep and thought provoking in this game, and the story that we are presented with here is epic (and very long).

The central plotline is mostly that of a tragedy. The well intentioned protagonist goes through so much grief (no, not the NTR kind lol) throughout the story. However, we also see incredibly heartfelt moments, sexual and otherwise, that really gets the reader attached to these characters. The writing and voice acting are very good and really bring these characters to life. In fact, the voice acting here is among the best that I've seen. If an emotionless twat like me could end up being moved by the character relations in this game, its doing something right.

Be ready for chapter 3 (and chapter 7). It uses a plot element to indulge fully into the corruption/mind break/rape/mind control fetishes. The rest of the game will present very loving, consensual, and emotional sex scenes.

As for the gameplay aspect, it's among the better ones found in VNs. The stat system is probably needlessly complex, but you get the hang of it. All in all, the dungeon crawling aspect never gets boring and some of the fights can get very challenging. The gameplay isn't something that can carry the game by itself like some other gameplay eroges, but it pulled its own weight.

The CG art is a bit outdated by today's standards, but it's charming in its own way. The monster sprites that are used in battles are ridiculously detailed. Especially for bosses. It resembles some table top figurines and it's just a great artistic approach.

This game has some of the most memorable music I've heard in my 30 odd years of gaming history. The track titled "For the Sake of Meeting You Again" in particular will probably stay with me for a long time.

The translation is an amateur job and it shows. Mostly in the technical aspects like line breaks, typos, occasional grammatical errors, and 5 or 6 untranslated snippets. I didn't find anything too bad about the quality of the English that is displayed here. It certainly did not detract from characterization and plot delivery. A huge thanks to @ushoran, for making this game playable for English speakers.

This is a game that takes a mature theme not unlike Xenogears or FFT, and mixes it with VN story telling elements including sex. I recommend it to anyone who likes thought provoking and mature themes in games.

Honestly the story in this game is really something. It's super dark and kinda fucked up, on a philosophical level. And there's this core plot element that I haven't seen done before at all. A true epic and rollercoaster of emotions. It's the type of story that you can just sit back and think about it. Some real topics of dilemma are challenged and pitted together in this story including but not limited to life, death, passion, love and humanity.

If I were to include every movie, tv show, book, manga, visual novel, video game, etc, ive ever played/read/watched. The story in this game is in my personal top 5.

The translation is a bit controversial. It was a machine translation, but it was edited into proper english. The guy that edited the translation however doesn't know japanese. So although it's perfectly readable good english, there is things that were lost in translation, or mis-translated. However, it's just minor things that don't affect the big picture at all and it's a completely enjoyable read. You aren't missing out on anything by reading this version.

The gameplay however does just enough to pull its own weight. It's pretty fun, not too grindy and does a good job at pacing out the game. But in reality if it weren't for the story, the gameplay alone wouldn't be reason enough to play through this game.

I rarely reviewed games. Those games I bother to make a review of is the ones I think is very good. Like seriously, very very good.

Without spoiling anything, I'll try to point out what makes this game very good in my opinion. There are several aspects that makes this game stand out from others:
    1. The story. You will experience various kinds of feelings while playing this game. Sad, angry, happy, joy, surprise, etc. This game doing a great job playing with your feelings.
    2. Gameplay. The gameplay is really fun. It's turn based, kind of like final fantasy, where you chose a specific action for each character in your party (attack, defend, skills, etc). You add skill points on your main character stats (STR, DEX, etc) so you can decide what your main character specialized at (Magic or Physical Attack).
    3. CG. While the CG art is old, it is still good and nice to look at.

There are still many things that I liked about this game but those 3 reasons above are its strong points. Among other great SRPG eroge, this is one of the best.

    The Good:
    -Great CG art and many
    -Good voice acting
    -The gameplay system is Fun
    -the Opening song is good
    -Many enemy variety

    The BAD:
-don't have a Options to interact with your Friends like having a Sex again or Other thing
-when your Monster girls partners/Friends got defeating you have to Summons and place it again in "Formations" Manually with is quite annoying, i wish it automatic when the Battle is ended
-i recommend Buy many Potions because in certain Events your have to keep continue fighting enemy until your reach the Boss without a options to Rest/Prepare again of course 1 of your friends can Heal but it a waste MP
-Your can't use a higher Weapons if your "Level Weapons skill" (not characters level) is not high or Max so if your want to Leveling it up have to use Normal Attack, so your have to Grinding alot, each weapons have it own skill but most occasion it weak again enemy unless your Level is Higher

The story is DEEP But it Up and Down but it getting good in the progress (it depending on your taste/preferred). Chapters 10 is the final

Give it a try if your like it Consider buy the game to support the Dev
this is a Long game, it take 61 Hours for me to finish this
