HTML - I'll Never Leave This Town [v0.2.2] [MincedMeat]

This is a very promising game with interesting mechanics and gameplay. It's not a visual novel and stats building is required. My suggestion is to keep Melanie in this game but not to have a lot of content with her.

Since the dev refuses to give up... some suggestions ............one dont put shit behind a paywall unless you have plenty of other shit to entice the player ...(would prefer nothing is behind a paywall but that seems to be too much to ask ).......2 Don't show someone at the game location unless there are events for that person in that time
dont give us options WE CAN'T USE yet ......... grey them out or at least change the color to let use know we do not meet the requirements yet so we we dont waist time clicking on them you can do so with a simple if statement
there are ways to clean up this mess LEARN THEM .....make a coherent story line.... YES it is a porn game ....but there has to be an order of things ....it has to mesh ....
and if there are no more events for an action at that time REMOVE THE OPTION ..........this is done with simple HTML CODE
YOUR players want to play, not click meaningless shit with no point or purpose
you have to involve the reader you show mom give the options of what to talk about A,B,C, then put a note after A,B,C conversations have been completed ......nothing more for now ...or some similar text this way the reader /player knows there is nothing more for that person ......
Variables , if statements values etc ....its simple learn about them , there are plenty of you tube tutorials on twine sugar cube

I had to figure out how to leave reviews, in order to rate this. I gave it a 1, honestly, it deserves a zero. This is literally the worst game I've ever downloaded from f95zone. The content is 100% behind paywall, then if you actually go past that wall, it's on a 3-5% chance to actually allow you to SEE any content. The stats are effectively pointless, because really everything is a percent check RNG to see anything. And you're not going to see it. Just, save yourself the time and don't bother, literally every game on here is more satisfying.

For V0.2.1 - The RNGesus here really hates the player. Even if you manage to cheat your way through the stats, what scenes you trigger and get to see still depends on RNG. In other words, you could have max stats, but you would still be stuck with no actual contents unless you hit some random number. For example, to start gym bros chain in the gym, you have to have a certain amount of fitness. The problem is that that chain is 1 of 6 events in the gym, so you won't encounter that scene every single time (in fact, it's 1/6 at best). If you do happen to get that scene, you now have to have a high corruption and fitness to continue the chain by one step, which, again, is chance-based, so even if you have a high corruption and fitness that got your here so far, there's no guarantee of you continuing. If you fail to continue the scene, you are now back to the beginning and have to re-trigger the gym bros scene again, by RNG. To get to the next scene, if you are so lucky, then you need to have yet another stat raised, and that scene is also chance-based, which, of course, should you fail here, will dump you back to the very beginning where you'll have to hope you get to re-trigger the gym bros things again, for the millionth time, AND on top of restarting, you'll also lose some stats as a result, thus setting you back (you can lose more stats points than you gain). As you can see, the chance of you being able to get to the last scene within each arc is very slim and very time consuming, with very little return, even if you have maxed stats. It is simply not worth it at the moment.

Waste game from a greedy sod. The game is really bad. The amount of grind it needs for nothing in return is appalling. Not to mention the success rate is poor and cast is even worse. Progressing was very very hard, not because of difficulty, but because you want to quit all the time and stop wasting your time on it. I know I'll never play it again.

This game is so bad it's unplayable.
The RNG system is terrible, with random stat changes means in order to reliably see a scene, you either have to spam the initial non-porn scenes hundreds of times, cheat, or reroll with the back button. This is because if you just let yourself fail, you will lose more relevant stats than success would give you, and way more than seeing the previous stage of the scene, so unless the percentage is above 50%, it's not worth trying if you're playing as intended, and it takes a lot of work to get to 50% on some of these scenes.
The lust stat is the most idiotic piece of design I have seen in any porn game. If you are vaguely high in lust, you might get too horny to proposition someone for sex and run away to masturbate instead. And you can't just keep your lust low, since some of the RNG rolls to see scenes are based in it. This means you have to balance having a high enough lust to have a decent chance to see the scene, but not so high that you get too horny to continue having sex in the middle of a scene and leave to masturbate. Oh, and running away to masturbate counts as an auto-failure, and often loses you other stats you need for reliable progression of scenes.
The game is riddled with bugs, some of which are obvious typos you can fix by editing the index, but some would require actually putting effort into trying to figure out how the shitty code is going wrong, which I'm not willing to do.
Fortunately getting access to the paid content without paying wasn't difficult with this terrible code, because the paid content is not worth a single dollar, not the $51/month asked for the highest tier.
A minor but still awful game design is that you have to just have a million conversations to unlock family members and locations. This is your home town and your house. You can just know where the gym is without your mom having to tell you, and your mom shouldn't have to remind you that your dad exists before he's allowed back in the house.

The only reason to download this game is if you're making your own and want a plethora of examples of what not to do.
