I guess that isn't a character card for this game u saved, so it stuck.
Maybe it is just a pic.

How do I import characters using cards? I tried to put the cards in the female folder and it always moves to the "old" folder when i open the game.

the game will open the folder you point it to when you look for cards & itll look to that folder again next time. so if its in the userdata/chara/female/old subfolder it will open that. all you have to do is open the folder you want when you select cards. specifically /chara/female
