Hi guys,

Like I said, I have no programming experience but I'm very much into games. I'd like to start creating my own games but I'm stuck especially about 3d model and scene generations. I could not find any educational sources online about how to. Where should I begin?

You start from drafting a Game Design Document, there's no right way of doing one, but it's pretty much the soul of your project which offers a complete overview of it. I made an april fool post which is not a guide, but it offers a pretty good starting point when it comes to writing one... If you want a more serious explanation in case you are not aware of what it is, just use google. Thee are templates too.

Once you have your Game Design Document ready, if you have no programming experience and do not want to spend half a year (at the very minimum) learning, then you have very few options: RPG Maker or Ren'Py. Pick the one that fits your design the best.

As for the graphics, how much experience do you have with it? If none, how powerful is your hardware? Are you willing to learn?
If you have a nvidia GPU and pretty powerful hardware, you can use DAZ3D, many tutorials on youtube to get you started.
If you do not have a nvidia gpu or particularly powerful hardware, but you are willing to learn, Blender is a good option.
If you want the easy option or you have a potato pc, just use HS2 or KK.

Thank you for your reply. I have somehow middle class pc with a Radeon rx570. I can try daz3d or blender but never ever I have seen a video where I'm instructed about working on genitals. I have seen tons of videos about blender and daz but non mentions sexuality. Is there any way that I can find some videos about that too?
And please forgive my ignorance but what are hs2 and kk?

With a Radeon you won't have much luck with Daz then.

You can bridge DAZ3D to Blender, but that requires some knowledge with both tools... As for the Genitalia, you can model and rig them yourself, or use an asset such as: https://f95zone.to/threads/dicktator-for-genesis-9.148750/ but again, you'd need to bridge and set all the materials up on Blender.

HS2 and KK are both games that offer a scene editor that some devs use to set up scenes and take screenshots to be used in their visual novels.

There are other options than full 3D graphics, especially if you are learning the craft.

You can source images from existing real life porn.
You can use AI image generation with some practice (although a lot of people seem to hate that, and there are limitations on the quality)
You can pay for an artist to make some images.

Also, a "game" is something that has *some* sort of challenge or process of discovery for the player to get through to see the rewards. A "game" is something that is potentially fun or interesting even without the porn images - and it's a lot harder to make a good one than you might guess. A dumb, boring story, or pointless, non-challenging gameplay (or both!) are where the sad, awful crapware mass produced "games" live. Don't go there if you have self respect.

If you are trying to do this thing because you want to share a specific fetish with the world, then consider your first attempt to be making a short text only game, or one that is mainly text with a few images. This lets you discover some valuable things:
- the actual process of game creation - programming, story, game design, artwork
- do you enjoy it? if you discover you don't, there is no way to ever finish what you start.
- get feedback. especially from players with a common fetish - you might get some strong support that will encourage you to continue.

AI won't really be an option with his card. Besides the fact that AMD cards are troublesome to setup for AI use, his card would only be able to make very low quality pics with small dimensions, and that's assuming he has enough memory.

I have a 6600 with 16GB of RAM and it struggles even with medium size pics.

Thank you for the answer. I started learning Blender. I played many real porn featuring games and don't want to go that way. Also I don't have enough funds to get assistance from an artist. These left me no options but to choose to learn blender. On the next message someone mentioned that my GPU would not be enough for AI images. So, let's go with Blender.

Right now I'm learning the basics (how to create a donut, lol)
After a while I will definitely check on that channel. Already subscribed. Many thanks.

Guys, I'm having trouble rendering on Blender. I think I need a new gpu. Any recommendations? Is Intel a must?

It takes about 20 mins to render a donut. Maybe I just used too many modifiers but I don't know much. Besides it seems like I need to spend months to properly learn it. Someone mentioned using AI to generate photos but that also requires Nvidia I suppose. Any help regarding the AI will be highly appreciated :)

There are ways to , but if you don't have a particularly powerful PC it might take some time regardless.
You can opt for Eevee renders instead, which is much faster. It might be a step down from Cycle rendering because Eevee doesn't have as good lighting etc. However, it can be mitigated with or if you want the same effect in vanilla Blender you can use .

You can speed up the blender learning process if you use most of your assets from DAZ (or other sources), so you skip over how to make assets etc yourself. But yeah it will take some time to learn regardless.

You can use AMD - it's just that 99% of tutorials and tools that you'll find will be done with Nvidia in mind.

And again, I have a 6600 and I can only produce pictures of moderate quality at low to medium resolutions. Your card will struggle even more.

Another thing is that using AI won't net you good results in an instant:

That's 119 pictures just to get one that I liked enough for the game:
aitests.png

And those are just the ones that I saved - I probably got the AI to render 300+, which for the settings that I use would translate into around 5 hours, not counting the time tinkering with the prompt.

This is what I got after all of those attempts:
1700118959492_2S.png

After some edition:
30.png

So we're talking about 7~ hours total just to get that low quality picture.

That's not to discourage you - just to point out that unless you're going for exceedingly generic renders, AI art is far from the lazy work that some who have never used it would like you to think, especially if you don't have a video card that can handle many steps.

It's been a while, but I believe that this is the guide that I used to get started:
(Use translate)

Note that some models are much heavier than others - at the start I was disappointed because after all of that trouble I wasn't able to generate anything, but then I started trying with smaller/simpler models and smaller dimensions and it worked. :)
