Image in reviews

Hey,

There's an add image button in the WYSIWYG editor when you write a review. I uploaded an image to imgur and copied the link, pasted it in the field but got back: Something went wrong, please try again or contact the administrator. This is the first time I've tried uploading an image in a review of a game.

Are there restrictions on F95 on which img hosts that are approved?

Yes, a lot.

But I'm not certain that you can actually insert images in reviews. The GUI is just the default one, it doesn't necessarily mean that all the feature will really be accepted.

did you copy the link to the image, or used the copy button imgur wants you to click that doesn't link to the image but to an imgur page that happens to display the image somewhere on it?

but as anne said, dunno if it'll appear in the posted review

Imgur is listed in that whitelist though...

Alright... Thanks for clearing that up Maybe I just can't insert images into reviews now that I think about it. I've never seen it done before. Just curious when I saw the button.

I did the copy url, but changed it, and it worked

I think I have seen it - might be mistaken, though.

you could try attaching an image to some other forum post and referencing that attachment in a review, between [ img ] tags?

Ah well... The LI is in the screenshots for the game, I didn't think it would make much difference
