If you want to manually apply the patch unzip/extract the .exe. Then you can copy and paste the files.
so i looked into it and the colormod exe put the images in the right place- i can SEE them in the same directory- but somehow the games exe is still displaying black and white. idk if theres a naming or addressing issue going on?
figured it out. theres a problem with the programs (idk what one, im a half-whit) NOT ignoring the .Wolf files. Either they were supposed to get deleted (and it was probably in the install guide i didnt find??) and didn't delete them-
or theres some sort of mod-hook that should be telling the game to blacklist/ignore the .wolf files the mod provided loose files for.
simply deleting the .wolf files that match up to a folder name with the colored pictures gets everything working.
yeah so... when i did that it fails to pull images that WOULD be in those default .wolf files. so i do think there should be something telling the game to check the loose files first- then rely on the .wolf but thats not happening. and deleting the .wolf causes files like button01 to be missing. so basically- i think if the images were extracted, colored, and repackaged to the .wolf files it would work perfectly no matter whos installing it on what platform...

However, I see that all these questions can be answered by following the installation video; the different videos are below the download links.
If I did, I'm 99% sure the same thing would happen, and I really don't want to go through that again.

But in my opinion, drawing is much more difficult than coloring.
You have to learn perspective, proportion, anatomy, among other things, which makes it really difficult.
Honestly, it would be a dream come true to get a sketch like the ones Tatsuya does.
And well, lastly I think I'm still a complete novice when it comes to coloring. Maybe it looks good right now, but when Tatsuya renders the image (with the dot shadows) you'll see the big difference.

I think this whole problem started because I didn't create this mod with the intention of "having erotic images in color" but rather to "have fun while doing it," which triggered this whole problem. The thing is, when I try to get back to this mod, I don't really enjoy it like before, and the feeling that I'm wasting my time or that someone else will steal the images overwhelms me, and I end up getting bored.
Maybe I'm being too selfish, or maybe I should never have tried to create something like this... I honestly don't know.
Anyway, I wanted to vent a little in this message. I still don't know what to do with this mod... I guess I'll keep working on the monochrome one until I decide.

Oh, and if you have any tips for improving the image I showed, I'd love to read them. Honestly, that was the first time I tried to "draw clothes," although, well, using the initial image as a guide, it couldn't really be considered a drawing as such.

When it comes to AI, I just like to remember that one of these days, that's going to burst. The dystopia that is the current sphere of events in the US can't last forever; and I like to believe that in the end, it will be something that favors the people, done by the will of the people; and those people are the same kind who respect the individual and their rights over the quarterly performance of megacorporations.
It's a bumpy road to where we want to be; but in time, I do believe the people you scorn and detest will see the consequences of their actions, whether they want to or not, and will have all the "effort" they're making thrown to the wayside. I believe people can win.
And, I should add: I was never here for colored porn scenes. I like your color work a lot. It made me happy, too.

I felt like I should be more specific, so you know it's not just empty words. One of the things I really enjoy about how you colored it is the use of... I want to call it gradients, but honestly, it might just be a sort of very soft shading, to make things feel less flat in the environment, like these details from scenes around the room.

Oh, it's great to see someone noticing these little details.
This is something I did throughout the project and in my two mods; it's super basic, but it helped a lot to give the scenes a little depth and prevent them from looking so flat.

Also, is Blue woman too? If so I am surprised to see so many women working on lewd games here. Or is it just me and its actually common thing? I always saw this market to be heavily targeting male audiences after all.

I honestly don't know the first part.
Although it's a shame he's absent from the forum, I'm truly grateful for everything he did for me.
The truth is, 90% of the motivation for the last update I released for this mod came from his help. Seeing that he helped with the code without me even asking directly motivated me to work as quickly as possible so that he wouldn't waste the time he invested in me.
The idea of changing the hair color and panties was something that gave this mod great value at the time; this mod definitely wouldn't be what it was without Blue's help.
From the bottom of my heart, I will always wish him the best and I hope he enjoys what he is doing, because in the end that is the only thing that matters
How can I remove it? Because at a certain point in the game, I can't do something because I get an error message saying that pngs are missing, and that's on the 20th.

You simply need to download another copy of the game and copy the "data" folder from the new copy to the old one where your game is saved.

It's such a shame that the mod was discontinued. It's such a beautiful piece of work you did. I'll miss your mod a lot, and if anyone wants to do this with AI, I'll immediately reject it because that should be banned. It's not better or more enjoyable. I hope there will be a sequel someday. Until then, I wish you all the best, and I'm looking forward to updates for your other mod. Never give up!
