Mod Wolf RPG Imouto! Life ~Fantasy~ FFFox Mod

I am on the steam version with dlc, and whenever I download the mod (1.6.4) and I try to play the game, I get messages that say files cannot be found, so certain sounds or images just dont work. Does anyone know why this happens?

This issue triggers when some data is missing. Why? Because 2 big (as my c) reasons:
The first one is simple: The game wants file called "imouto_some" and the mod has got "inouto_some". Mod creator's fault, you can tell it here and the mod will be fixed.
The second one is simply the non existed game files that can be caused for a bad installation OR because you unzziped the mod with a software who made some mistakes. The OS has got a unzipper, try to not use it. Use 7zip or WinRAR.

I had the same problem and fixed it by downloading the Japanese language pack on my PC, but I'm not using the kagura version so dunno if this will fix it for you.

This is a Kagura font issue, and I plan to forgo it by replacing it with the original Inusuku font with the next update. There was also a quick fix a page or two back that went ahead and replaced said file with the better font.

BlueFireNick Just wanted to tell you how patient and nice you are even after you are basically bombarded with various questions and tech issues people have. Hopefully you still are left with energy to work on the mod and keep giving new life into game. I wish you a good 2025 year!

I do have a question too, but idk if you have an answer to it. Do you have a "final" version goals for fffox mod? Or is it going to be updated periodically when you and akapp get new ideas? I am also wondering if you have any plans to make mods for Imouto Monochrome remake once that is released?

I have actually created new error messages that will appear when installed incorrectly by using some clever modding after finding a few new options in WolfRPG. Hopefully (and probably not), it'll slow down the stream with the next update.

I do have some end goals in mind for the mod. I still plan to finish the expanded walk option and expand on the magic a little, but currently don't have any other large plans before wrapping up the mod. Once those two are done, along with some other small things, I think I'll be at satisfying point to wrap it up, since I've accomplished pretty much all I want in this project.

I don't know whether I'll mod the remake or not. Probably not instantly, at least, as I'd want to actually enjoy the game first. I usually pick my projects on impulse, though, so who knows.

You didn't finish installing the mod. There are installation instructions included with the mod that outline exactly how to do each step with pictures attached, but essentially it goes like this:
1. start with a fresh copy of the game.
2. copy the 'Data' folder found inside the mod's zip folder and paste it in the game's base folder (you'll get an overwrite request)
3. copy the 'Data' folder found inside the Kagura Compatibility folder and paste it into the game's base folder (you'll get another overwrite request)
4. done

akapp Brother, I hope what happened with the color mod has not discouraged you, the truth is that it seems disgusting to me that someone comes out of nowhere to break all the work that you 3 had, I see that it has been a long time since you shared your drawings with us.

Your drawings give us a lot of new content to the game and every day I check the thread to see if there is anything new from you.

Likewise. Idk what this is referring to or what happened, but akapp, Daseson, and Nick's work is incredible and intertwines beautifully together.

I believe i found tiny error with fffox mod 1.6.4 version. I used a clean install of fan translated version with dlc and only fffox mod on top of it.

Its related to new raised leg position (error pops when you insert->deep then insert->stop).

Its related to new raised leg position (error pops when you insert->deep then insert->stop).

No. It's more of a one and done storyline.

It's possible that if you downloaded the pre-unpacked version, there won't be an overwrite request when copying the first data folder over, as there are no .wolf files to replace. However, WolfRPG uses .wolf files as a priority, so the mod will still work as intended without extra steps.

Ah, thanks. That error message helped me to find one of the elusive bugs I was trying to hunt down, since it wouldn't give me the error message directly for some reason. I'll get it fixed in the next update!

I am glad to help even tiny bit. I actually noticed some other minor issues with that position aswell but all of them fixed next time a frame rendered. I suspect those issues might be related to winlator emulation, but I will keep an eye on issues i see where im confident its not caused by something else.

There was actually another small issue, but im not sure if its at all related to the fffox mod. Basically when you finish dire bear fight the next day you go to guild you have an empty fourth option. After clicking it and going back it then renders correctly.




The fact next update is already in the works is exciting. Cant wait!
