Hey guys,
I see the topic of the new game is still coming up...
If I'm honest, saying I won't create a mod goes against my own thoughts. Of course, I want to work on a mod for the future game. The art is beautiful, and I've even colored some of the preview images as practice.
I love coloring, unlike what I've read from some people who say they find it boring or tedious, I can do it for hours and not get bored. In the end, when I finish, I always like to make these before and after comparisons to see what else I can try or add and thus gradually improve.
The problem is that I don't want the same thing to happen again... that another person who is tired of waiting starts creating things with AI and mixing them with my work, since my previous experience was horrible.
So, I'm thinking I can work on a future mod for the game, but with a few conditions:
- That this mod is finished. I really don't want to start something again without finishing what I have in the project (I've actually made a lot of progress these last few days, so I think I can do it).
- That at least a month has passed since its release and no one else has made a color mod (If no one else wants to do it, I can try).
- If someone else starts creating "complementary mods" or releasing AI images based on this work, I would cancel it immediately to avoid another mess like what happened before.
I would think that would be the "healthiest" way to avoid more problems, although I highly doubt that with such a good game, a week would go by and nobody would have done anything about the AI since it's readily available to anyone right now.
But those would be my conditions; if they are met, I will be happy doing what I love most; if not, well, I have other ideas.
Well, that would be my answer for now on that topic, so only time will tell which path I'll take.
I hope that with this message the topic of "will you create a mod for the next game" is closed.
