Still wasn't able to fix it for this release - for some reason my code is refusing to update the
replay_label variable...

Could you use URM on the base game and track how the code is coded for that and try and replicate it or add a new label?

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While loading the script.
ScriptError: Name ('game/tl/english/mod.rpy', 1753251146, 364) is defined twice, at game/tl/english/mod.rpy:3 and game/tl/english/mod.rpy:404.

suffering from this error. game worked fine with mod but i had to close it midway to care of some stuff, it was a standard shutdown no force crash. now when i try to open the game to play rest of the update this error pops up and doesnt let game to load. i repeat i made absolutely no change to any file.

Maybe you should unpack the mod again? Because, if I understood correctly, the log says that two lines in the mod.rpy file contain the same thing, which is not in the original mod file, there are different lines. Or unpack the game again and reinstall the mod.

actually i threw in the log on to chatgpt and it said error is with renpy loading mod.rypc file first which defines translation block at line 3 and then immediately loads the mod.rpy next which defines the same translation block at line 404.

tldr; fix was to delete the mod.rpyc file and let the game create a new one;and this fix worked.

Why do the mod keeps reverting to Russian all the time? Play without mod no Russian, add mod and cyrilic randomly?
And yes I just took game folder and put over the games "game" folder.
Is it because of the enhanced eng addon?

yes had the same issue it for some reason overwrites or messes with the better english game file
