In games that require you to put in a name, what do you write and why?

Used to default to the name of Battle Tendency's villain Kars, now I just use Pokemon Red and Green's default of Red. Not sure why I think it's just cause I hate coming up with names.

Always Wendel in adult and mainstream games, except for some games like Ecchi Sensei where it feels really out of place.

It harkens back to my freshman year of college or thereabouts. All I really remember is that when I chose it I was thinking of Grendel from Beowulf.

Usually I use a shortened version of my usual nick, but..

I don't know if I'm the only one but I usually write Dick because heh... pp
This I like!

Mostly because I'm writing a detective story so that would work both ways.

Unnamed the MC in it is 'Rex Mundi' Not a reference to the comic character or wine, but the Robert Rankin character in his Armageddon trilogy. The name just always stuck with me.

So let me add an extra question to any other devs that peer at this thread: How do you choose a default character name?

If asked, I put the developer's name on the MC. Then the story makes sense when the dev gets cucked.
