Does it utterly disappoint the heck out of anyone else how laughably bad the site is. How absurdly overpriced a bunch of total utter shit is? How everything even remotely worth supporting ain't translated officially or even well if it is "officially" tossed into the "poetry" shredder. How the the epitome of retarded porn aka censored porn prevent anything in good conscience to be supported...
Has anyone ever considered using it over any other sites that are all absurdly better that also sells games? That is when actually buying games that are worth buying that are uncensored?

I refuse to buy anything censored without an official uncensor patch, and the more Japanese games I play the more disdain I have for Japanese devs and H-game design. So I don't patronize the place. My smut money goes to devs on Patreon.

I had no problem when the English site was separate. Ever since they merged the English site with the Japanese site, it's a been a headache for me to navigate. I think it's improved a bit since the merger, but i'm not sure.

The prices are high, yes, but they do a lot of discounts throughout the year and always give coupons. Remember that DLsite takes a 50% cut too, which is likely contributing to high regular prices. If you add things to your favorites and wait for a sale and a coupon, you can get things at a reasonable price.

It's a Japanese site so the censorship is out of their control because it has to comply with Japanese law. Personally, it doesn't bother me. What does bother me is that some devs will charge more for the English version of a game. I understand why a dev would do that but i don't like it.

For me, i won't buy adult games on Steam and i won't touch Patreon so that only leaves stores like DLsite and itch.io. If you know of other legitimate alternatives, i'd like to hear them. So far i've only bought from DLsite, itch.io, and directly from the dev.

The worst part of the site, like Steam games that want to get the most money, country situations be damned so we'll charge them like first world countries, is the fact they don't accept regional pricing, by far the worst thing that scares people from poorer countries away.

Some might argue "just move to a richer country you dumbass!" statements, yet failing to understand why people would rather stay, and the fact moving out of the country to another is a pretty high expense in itself, not to mention even if you do have money to move out, you might get new problems in the new country because foreigner reasons. I already had people complaining about it on Steam and calling me horrible because I'm not from US aligned countries, but it only proves that they can only obey money, standards be damned. It is basically "if you are homeless, just buy a house", ignoring what problems they would or already have.

Dlsite already has its own problems, Steam has problems too, and others are too small to sell their own aside from subscription services like Subscribestar, so I am not hopeful overall of storefronts in general. Not helped by the fact that Steam also houses rather shady devs, some of which go straight to trolling territory while even becoming legalized of sort with a Gachimuchi asset flip having a Warcraft 3 vampirism aura avatar frame, lazily made Live2D avatars from "hentai puzzle" games, devs who think that they should protest legal laws by breaking them by porn, while Dlsite houses lazy ones instead that made games that have rather heavy flaws yet still show 5 stars. I am not saying all are bad of course, there's actually decent creators who actually care for their audience, just saying that it gives leeways for ones that want to exploit them instead, some of them breaking the law by themselves, if not encouraging users themselves breaking them.
