It's hard for me to decide between Zero no Tsukaima and Kanojo, Okarishimasu. On the one hand, a fantasy world where you can add combat and scenes related to it, but I've heard more than once that people don't need combat in such games. Also, due to the fantasy, it was possible to add some magic to the antagonist with which he will put a mark of lust on Louise, which according to the plot will develop and force the heroine to become more and more corrupt. On the other hand, the world of Kanojo, Okarishimasu is very suitable for the NTR genre, but there is nowhere to do combat and the story will revolve around the fact that the antagonist was either previously rejected by Chizuru or accidentally found out about who she works for and thereby blackmails her, gradually raising the bar. I agree with you that all a player needs is to immerse themselves in the game. But honestly, I don't remember any hentai NTR games that used puzzles. Maybe Fujino used them in his early games Scathach Game Prologue and Sakura's Chapter, but honestly, they didn't dilute the gameplay there.

And I understand what you mean. Of course, I think about it, making a game with a completely static plot would be boring for both me and the players

The best NTR setups focus on a single pure, devoted heroine and a flawed MC—someone absent, shy, or neglectful—making the betrayal more personal and painful. The heroine should also have flaws: shy, inexperienced, pure-hearted, easily manipulated, or emotionally vulnerable (lonely, frustrated, or naive). Harem and comedic series can work but are usually too spread out or lighthearted to hit as hard. In some cases one of the characters just doesn’t fit well—like the MC from My Happy Family, who’s too present and not clueless—but it’s still decent overall.
