Hi , to get into context I'm making a game with known cartoons, the first world is Dexter's laboratory, this image is from an old draft of one of the frames of the first animations I made.
My doubt is the following, I have been reviewing other posts and Patreon's rules and I came to the conclusion that I had no choice but to remove the incest and "shotas" (change Dexter for his muscular version from the future for example) and let the public be in charge of making slight modifications to enable this. Until I saw the case of Amity Park and Rick and Morty.

These games offer this content directly, they just put as little information as possible related to them on Patreon and use other means to communicate. I wonder if doing this would be enough to not have to remove the incestuous content from my game ? Or are they just lucky that they haven't been reported yet, or maybe I'm missing something?

I don't know about other sites rules and stuff, I just want to say that while Dexter's mom is hot as fuck, seeing her have sex with regular midget sized Dexter will drop my boner to the ground unless the art style is different and he no longer looks like a wine bottle cork.

1) it's not enough. there is no safe way to leave sexualized incest in on patreon. there's no safe way to circumvent it either.

2) it's luck. all of the options hinge on different levels of risk, from low to high. whatever your final choice is, have a plan b in case patreon bans it regardless of the extent of your efforts.

But I think you can enter relationship's at start of the game when user enter it's name and it's one way to "Bypass" patreon's shit correct me if I'm wrong.

There are examples of exeptions of shota/loli/bestiality content on patreon that managed to flew under the radar, like Claire's quest from Dystopian Project that contain nearly all fetishes under the sun, they are even on steam and they seem to be just fine, and Raven's quest from Pixelgames that also contain bestiality and they never had an issue with patreon as far as I can tell, Peasant Quest (damn thoses uninspired game titles) made by Tinkerer is also doing just fine with incest and bestiality on patreon, except he hid the content behind a patch.

I've set up a Subscribestar account today, hope they validate it within a week or I will just have to go with Patreon, add an anonymous patch and wish for the best.

Rigaeru as Meaningless told you any doudts about Patreon guidelines ask them directly, that way you won't risk being badly informed by a third party.

And finally, perhaps the most important thing you need to keep in mind, is the local law of where you geographically live regarding to the creation of such content, some areas are more strict than others and can be the biggest obstacle to some/most creators.

Regardless to how you will monetize your content, that final topic can potentially shutdown your project and set you back to say the least.
