Semi-True, if you put enough effort you can use some assets from the daz store for haircuts or stuff like that, for Building, props and etc you can pretty much port it for Daz yourself by harvesting from other places... but it is a commitment that most people are not willing to do I assume.
some is not enough for a game. you'd have to models a shit ton of assets yourself. and they'd had to have style or it wouldn't work. can't half-ass something like that like with modern assets.
