=+.75 for 2nd tier blacksmithing should be +=.75. As it is, it resets your smithing once you finally reach 25. Same problem on the 3rd tier (smithing 50). And the final tier does not deduct energy, is that intended? I actually think having 4th tier cost only 1 energy would be a good reward if not.
Asking Sister Evelyn to change outfit causes the inn's talk options to be displayed until you exit the house.
Suggestions:
*Perhaps link some scenes with the smith's daughter to smithing progress so grinding doesn't feel so repetitive.
*I think it's wise for you to avoid trying to emulate medieval speech if you're not an expert. I'd just at some put something in that handwaves away anachronisms as part of the time-travel device (maybe it alters your perceptions to compensate for speech differences and that's why it's out of juice?).
*I vote for having more pubic hair on most models. While modern speech is suspension-of-disbelief-able, I'm always a bit disappointed when ostensibly olden-days females all have brazilians (at least you're already better than that). I realize I may get outvoted on this and understand that it's probably too much work to have two variations for each model.
*I agree that the default "return" screen should be the village map and that there should be a sleep and work button on there.
*Please do the religious girl justice. I'll be happy to give feedback since I have some (non-expert) interest in that period's heresies/religious views, but please don't let her just be that usual religious trope girl with no depth. I'll say it's looking good so far.
*Affection level for the relevant woman at least viewable inside their house.
All in all, great job! I'm a fan of the models you're using and I appreciate the effort you've put into writing, both in straight up quality and in the variations for conversations. Even though I gave myself 100 gold rings, I still read the talk variations because they were well-done.
Bugs have been noted and will be fixed within the day. Thanks for reporting them. Your suggestion about the 4th tier sounds good and will most likely be implemented.
About your suggestions:
⦁ Smithing progress will play some part in the ending for Path 1, so I would like to keep it separate from any of the characters. Another user mentioned Monogamy being a feature of the game, and I would like to explore that, so I'll keep it its own thing for now.
⦁ I tried to avoid the characters speaking in completely modernized English to be honest. And of course, I'm no expert, but if a line is annoyingly wrong, my DM's are always open and I can always rewrite it. The time-machine idea is good and it will probably be mentioned and explained in future updates.
⦁ This could be a patch in the future (even though I have no idea how to even create a patch) but it will probably be towards the end of development. There are so many things to improve and implement right now, so I don't think that I should prioritize it.
⦁ Well, by popular demand, I will try to change the Return Screen to the map for the next version, so that you guys can decide which one you prefer, both for better user experience and for the pace of the game.
⦁ Honestly, Evelyn is the only character that I probably would swap/remove from the game. Not saying I will. I just thought I had a somewhat good idea, but over time I’ve started to feel like she might not fit as well as I’d hoped. Still, if anyone wants to pitch an idea, here or in DM's, I will be more than happy to listen to it. That is, as long as people don't expect me to do everything they suggest.
