+ Added City Hall in Old Town, where you will be able to gain influence on the city in the future
+ Added Mayor NPC in City Hall with a few interactions (talk to her a few times and an option will appear if you have advanced in the story a bit)
+ Added buyable Estate; you can now invite girls to live there, and they will gain affinity and stats based on upgrades and a new happiness system
+ Added assignable roles for girls in Estate
+ Added a new filter in NPC list for girls who live in Estate, and new history logs for them moving in and out
+ Added an option in settings to change girl age preference
+ Added an option in settings to change the probability of trait inheritance
+ Removed court in Old Town (for now)

Try with your girlfriends, and it would be better if they don't mind you having other girlfriends

Progress the story a bit and talk a few times with the mayor. There is a new Help menu that explains that and the new mechanics related to it.

It probably requires a certain amount of money before unlocking it as well.

Started up the game for the first time, found a girl, went on a date, clicked "Cast a spell on her" and got softlocked.

Reminds me of that one time I tried playing vanilla Skyrim without any single mods and got softlocked the first time I tried joining the Companions while having Lydia with me. She just started attacking the guy who was "jumping me into the gang," so to speak.
My point being that it's a simple and logical set of actions any player could do and it shouldn't be so easy to get softlocked.

Thanks for the report, I reworked the spell system a little bit and it introduced this bug. I am not Bethesda, I work alone and I can't spot every little thing before it gets reported by players. The scope of this bug is quite limited tho, only happens when you don't have a spell to cast. I'll release a fix, in the meantime you can use the "escape" button in left sidebar.

Also, opening up the phone from the sidebar and then clicking "Back" will teleport you home from anywhere in the city.

Yeah, there wasn't any progress lost, so it's not a big deal.

Oh, and were you planning on including pregnant sex? Because for now it seems like a 8 month pregnant girl has the same sex scenes as a non-pregnant ones.

And could you sort out the speed at which new blocks of text appear during events? You could make a toggle for it in the settings or something? Having to wait 1 second between new text appearing might not sound like too much, but after having read the Dark Ritual event I just want to click through it to get the +1 thing at the end without having to wait a second every single time. Those seconds add up and add to the frustration. Removing those delays will definitely lessen friction and make playing the game more enjoyable.

Same thing also works with Settings and Help and Cheats. But all of those have a button explicitly labeled as "Home."

It might be increased, but I think it's quite decent already.
