Ren'Py - Completed - iNSight of you [v1.0] [AdventAnyx]

Very surprised about the depth and polish of this game. Most, if not any, other games with art created with Honey Select Studio are miles behind what is here on offer -- not only the art but also the animations.
For me, personally, the only thing I don't like is that one of the females *really* look underage...
The navigation is not as easy as it could, but there are tons of hints that help the game go forward.
In the end, you will NOT regret investing some time on this one.
Highly recommended.

EDIT: The author keeps saying that he is a "notoriously bad programmer". Don't believe him! The game is great, and never, ever crashed. And that is something I can't say of much simpler Ren'Py games.

This game is incredibly well done. especially considering it's roots as just a VN. It's well written with plenty of crappy (in the best way) humor. You know the type. The jokes that shouldn't make you laugh and yet always do. I noticed very few typos in the quite large section of the game I played through.

It's a fantastic "corruption" game, if that count's as a genre. You slowly make character more and more open to sex and the like. If you're into any games fitting that description, I highly recommend checking this one out.

The CG is decent. Many things look very promising.

Unfortunately, the game is an awful, chaotic, disorganized, un-navigable mess. I'd like to actually be able to play a game, not to have to figure out the ins-and-outs for 2 hours before I can get started.

How this managed to get such a good rating is absolutely beyond me.

Great building up system. The only thing i miss, is Maya or Esther being edged into oblivion.

The Dev is trying to make interesting and different gameplay that is unique in a Ren'Py game. His characters are interesting and attractive! You can easily revisit scenes you are interested in and if the grinds becomes too much (game over etc) there is an auto switch that will make it easier!

Of course I cannot wait for 0.9 and darn I wish we could corrupt Esther, but the game is going in the right direction. AdventAnyx is a present community member who is passionate about this project.

Well, this game is something else.

First of all, most of it is animated, and it's awesome . If there isn't an event unfolding, there are characters doing something on the screen.
The animations themselves are very well done, and so are the renders. I feel dev is experimenting with them, and for the most part it's paying off.
The models are well done as well. The three main girls are distinct and Esther in general is adorable.

The story stands is is enjoyable. It's a classic comeuppance/revenge plot but it's different enough to stand out. The characters in it are well written (especially Esther) and for the most part serve the game well. There is something really gratifying in this game about leading the boss further and further down the depravity hole.
The dialogue and interactions between the characters are also good, but the humor in them might be a hit or miss for some people. It's very memey and features a lot of wordplay. I enjoyed it immensely.

The gameplay is generally good. Chapter 1 is a kinetic novel, and the actual gameplay starts after that. It's a little grindy, but not much and it the grind almost goes away after a few upgrades. It also changes chapter by chapter, as more things get added. Lastly, the locations mc can visit in the game don't feel empty, there is always something to do to that's relevant to the objective at hand. Speaking of objectives, the journal or Esther offer clear hints regarding the progression of the story/characters.
The only bugs I encountered were when I used cheats. I'm on a clean playthrough and so far I haven't encountered anything.

In conclusion, it's an awesome game and I recommend it highly.

So this game is pretty... Memey. The story is shaky at best and the characters barely make sense. The whole arc with the first girl is a difficult swallow.
But that's just the first chapter, after that it really shows it's true face and things get intriguing, hot and devious! Truly good.

With that said, it's good game!! It's pretty fun once you get over the initial headache that is the dialogue and logical reasoning. Renders are good and the MC might look like a tool, but he doesn't act like one and has some real balls.

The hot animations, a devious humiliation plot, good sense of humor and sharp dialogue would have made this an instant 5-star for me. BUT as it stands, the gameplay is just way too grindy and all over the place. Having to repeat the same event multiple times to reach the next corruption step or plot point, is just a waste of time. So for that it loses a solid star.

I wish the game had continued on the VN path of the fantastic introduction, with some choices here and there; it would have made for an amazing (albeit much shorter) experience.

Fantastic game. Story isn't just filler like most other titles, corruption scales very well. Animation and character design is very good, dialogue makes you smile instead of cringe. Excitingly waiting for more A+

The game follows the journey of the son of a deceased crime lord, who is tasked with infiltrating a company lead by a very shrewd bitch. We must show her who's the boss now.

If you're into trainer games this should be right up your alley. The only caveat is it's not a trainer per se; I'd classify it more as a sort of management simulator. There's much more going on here than you'd find in your standard trainer game. There's a fantastic story with fully fleshed out characters here.

In short, the game is worth your time. Below are somewhat random thoughts on my experience.

I went the Harem route, and Maya and Esther are amazing and compliment one another perfectly. It's one thing to have two interesting female LIs that.. just sort of exist side by side with only the MC to connect them, but to be able to create an entertaining and interesting dynamic between both of them and the MC (aside purely that of sex and hot scenes) consistently throughout is quite remarkable. They are great supplemental content to the bread and butter of the game:

Oh Gloria. Gloria Gloria.

I feel writing too much about her would spoil the experience, so all I'm going to say is the journey we've gone through together thus far has been one of the most memorable experiences I've had in anything available on this site.

My only complaint would be gameplay management mechanics; just when I got the feel for a day-to-day routine, a chapter would change and I'd have to read stuff on what to do all over again in a system where I was initially overwhelmed already.

That said, it's a small complaint hardly worth noting. Don't let it distract you from the experience; it truly appears more complicated than it is in reality. Eventually everything flows pretty naturally in a surprisingly satisfying way. And this is coming from someone whose favorite type of 'game' is purely Kinetic novels: I simply don't trust amateur devs to provide fair and enjoyable gameplay mechanics on this site. But I'm a cynical bastard so don't judge me. This game stands out as one of the few to break that tradition for me.

If your middle name is depravity and you're looking to engage in some super sexy domination with a little adorable (but also sexy) love on the side, look no further than this game.

This is one of the best porn games I have played period. I was doubting the 3d modules since I am usually not into that but this is really well made and the scenes are really well made.
the game overall is amazing with it being two section.
first section: is the just kinetic novel with plenty of story and a lot of sexy scenes and explanation about the world and the start of the story, plenty of humor and I like each character introduction and expressions
second part: an open sandbox trainer-like game where the "mind control" is more of a body response control where you train your Boss to be more "open" to suggestions and senstation boosting say her sense of smell to be more tunred on by smelling cum or dicks etc . it's pretty fun overall and the prorgression is fine if only held back by how tedious it's sometimes to take care of her not to kill you .

overall I highly recommend the game and I absolutely love it .

At first when I read the description of this game, that we will be manipulating other people's minds I thought about to skip this game, because I'm not really a fan of mind control genre and see it as cheats or an excuse for not making complex story with realistic relationships between characters. But the game had a high rating and I was bored, so I decided to give it a chance, and not in vain as it turned out.

Overall I think this game deserve 3 stars, which can be count as normal, and still it's much better than the games we usually see here. But I give it four stars, because I was really into story and the dev's style of writing. So my rating for this game it's kinda investment in the future, because as for now, the game has some flaws, but if the dev manage to fix biggest ones and finish this game , he can create a really good game.


Good points

• Mind control. As it turns out mind control in this game has a well-reasoned base and it logically built into the plot. There is no magic about it, only pure science. Basically it's chip which control processes in human body. Even if you seriously think about it, I believe something like this can be possible in reality in some not distant future. While it give the MC advantages it doesn't make him invincible and the process is quite complicated. He even managed to fuck up drastically when he tested this chip, so he almost killed his girlfriend. Also mind control not the ultimate tool, the MC will have to solve many problems in other ways.
• Story. The story has some clichés, but overall is well done it keeps you intrigued and contains some plot twists.
• The writing. The biggest good point of this game, that makes plot even better. Some plot twists and ways out of difficult situations are written in an unusual author's manner, which makes the narrative unique and give you positive impressions.
• Humor. Most characters like to swearing on every occasion, but they doing it by choosing quite unusual words, which generate quite comical situations. Despite that humor it's a subjective thing, I classified it as a plus, because even if the jokes didn't make me laugh out loud, they did make me smile. Besides the dev quite competent with using memes, funny remarks and quotes.
• Characters. All characters are good written and feels unique and while they often like too fool around, they are interesting to follow.
• Gameplay mechanics. There is variety of interesting features like access to hidden cameras, sexual training, various indicators of sexual frustration etc.

Neutral points

• NTR. While I found quite stupid to give game bad points or rating for kinks it contain, I decided to move NTR into neutral points simply because it's not yet developed. There is some events with 2 girls, they are well written, but the amount of them is quite few. Personally I'm not really into jealous that accompanies NTR genre, but I like heavy corruption, to make perfect sluts from the girls and with this aspect the dev managing very well. I hope the dev don't give up on this route.
• Animations. As I see many people either not acknowledged about Honey Select or didn't played much games based on it, because they giving good rating for standard HS animations. Still, despite amount of standard animations, the dev making attempts to create some custom animations which is plus, but there is not too many of them. It could be a good point, and maybe even additional half star for rating, if they weren't be standard. But the dev also integrated animations in almost every scene in the game like routine actions, dancing, talking etc. There is a lot of them, it makes scenes livelier and more variable and that's why animations in the neutral points.

Bad points

• Amount of characters. While it give some depth to existing ones, it causes boredom. Because you can only interact with 3 female characters, 2 of them - are close friends, so they content kinda merged to each other and another one - is the main plot character which we train and blackmail, so she has much more content than the others. If the developer had given us at least two more characters to interact with from the beginning it would solve the problem.
• The grind. While I have some tolerance to grind, and can find such gameplay enjoyable if the things done right, this game definitely need some adjustments. I can't agree with most people here that grind in this game is terrifying (I've seen much worse examples), because before chapter 3 I didn't have any problem with it and every indicator was filled up in a few game days. But in chapter 3 the amount you need to reach started to be really huge like 9000 points , while you get like ~500 points for a day. As I see it, the major problem with the grind mechanics in every game, that contains them, is that there is nothing we can do between repeating actions. The story kinda stopping to flow and we just work our ass off for another piece of the story. In my opinion there should be some events between this actions to make them less routine and feel rewarding. Like you doing repeating actions, but after few of them you see some small story continuation, or you discover another sidequest which will fade your boredom or help advance the plot.
  My suggestion is to lower the needed amounts from 9000 like in the game to 4000. Make some sidequests and more repeatable events during days to break up the routine.
• Game mechanic changes. The game starting as kinetic novel with good flowing story, but after an hour it changes it direction towards sandbox gameplay. I must admit I'm not a fan of kinetic novels and like to have impact on the story, but the narrative was actually good, so I didn't really care. Still, normally, I would prefer to play either visual novel with choices or sandbox, not two of them in the same time. This merge and sudden change of narration flow ruins atmosphere and overall player experience. If the dev would give choices to player earlier and continue this vn style, that would be one of problem solutions. Another one would be if it wasn't integrated so sudden, but slowly with gradual teaching of new mechanics to the player. Still even despite this changes, the game more than playable, but it can scare off some players. Anyway what done is done, I hope if the dev ever try to make another game, he don't repeat this mistakes.

Afterword
While I'm not really fan of the BDSM and don't found myself sexualy interested in main heroine which we corrupt and train, I was really enjoying the plot and was intrigued what happens next. And after I discovered the opportunity with striptease club, I was fired up with great interest to corrupt all the main girls in this game.

Great art and animations and good overall story-line but a mess to play!

I followed this game from the beginning and really loved where this was heading. I love corruption games and the premise of this one was really great. The main target is to corrupt Gloria, an Ice Queen who is the boss of a company. Sadly the heavy grind and the messy way the gameplay elements - which themselves are actually really good - are implemented makes it very hard to enjoy the game. The games problem is actually too much of everything. Your are overwhelmed by all the features and elements.

Generally speaking: If you are into some kind of Corruption, Domination and Humiliation this might be exactly what you looked for.

The protagonist is a evil minded genius, who wants to revenge himself. The game plays like a trainer game featuring a lot of different aspects and gameplay features.

Pros:

• Story - The stroy is quite good, giving a good background and setting for the whole game and the corruption. The characters are introduced nicely and have good personalities and distinctive behavior.
• Story writing - Really good writing so far - real english. Very intelligent and also with a lot of humor. I like the heart elements showing the affection of the female characters as well as the dom and dirty talk from the male protagonist.
• Attention to detail - be it with the characters, the world, the scenes. Everything seemes well-thought. You can feel the that the dev puts a lot of effort in this game.
• The Dev - Updates come very regulary and offer a whole lot of content!
• Kinks - dev is implementing some nice different kinks and fetishes in the game, such as BDSM, maledom, blackmail and so on.
• Art - the art itself is absolutley amazing! Well done Dev! There is a lot of attention to detail especially within the characters and their development. The animations are integrated really nicely and all gameplay features have their own design. Fantastic work!

Mediocre:

• Corruption progress - The Dev takes the time to point out how the different characters in the story are corrupted. Still sometimes I feel that there are some scenes missing. I would have enjoyed more different first time sex scenes with Gloria or more groping before or condom sex before raw. The leaps from one major event to the next are too big for me.
• Scenes - the scenes themself are very well done - but most of them feel far too short. I really like the compilations of sex scenes that spread over many hours but such scenes are very rare. All in all I would wish for more scenes and longer ones.
• Gameplay elements - While the gameplay elements themselves and the corruption elements specifically are really well thought and nicely done they are badly implemented. The big problem is that there are actually too many elements and details - its too much of everything, they are all over the place and even though I played this game from the beginning I feel totally overwhelmed and feel like I cant enjoy the story or the corruption progress anymore. You really feel lost within the game.

Cons:

• Missing Gallery - just that.
• Grind- while within some parts of the game the story and the corruption progress without any grind there are parts where the grind is insane. This non-linear way the game is constructed breaks its immersion and makes it exhausting to play. A real mood killer.
• It's a mess! - The game wants to do too much. I feel totally lost within all the gameplay elements and things that are going on. Actually this is really sad, because the really good story, corruption progress and character desgin as well as the fantastic art are drained out by this mess. The game is absolutely exhausting to play. For me this sadly destroyed the whole game.

Final thoughts:

While I can recommend this game I really hope the dev takes care of this mess and polishes the gameplay and game design. Otherwise I will never really come enjoy the full potential of this game. Maybe the premise was too big. Maybe the dev is too much of a genius to think simple. I really feel this game wants too much, and while when you look at the details they are done absolutely amazing the bigger picture just does not work.

I really want to love this game but at this point its just not possible for me any longer. I hope the dev manages to tidy up this mess and polishes the what needs to be polished. If so, I will definitily come back and adjust my review.

Excellent game, I definitely recommend it. The story is exciting, although not always believable (but that's to be expected for a porn game.) The story does get confusing in the newer updates but hopefully, it will make more sense later on.

The animations are great and the girls are cute. It nice to see a game with a bit more gameplay than "go talk to this girl at this time in this location to progress her story." It is a bit grindy but I didn't mind too much. Music is great, not sure how the developer is using copyrighted music but the music choices are great and fit nicely in the game.

Excited to see what comes with the new updates.

This is a good trainer game. The plot is fine and the writing/dialogue is a step up from other trainer games with some of the meme references and esoteric references (ShindoL). At least there is some playfulness and charm between the characters. As such I didn't skip dialogue all that much.

The entire system of Resistance/Lewdness looks intimidating at first but really it's not that hard to comprehend.

It's a little bit grindy but nothing too tedious, as expected from a trainer game.

For future updates, I'm hoping for anal action between the MC and the girls, some POV animations if possible and unique scenes with Gloria where its just 1 on 1 session (With BDSM, anal, watersports, humiliation)

Awesome game! Not the usual corruption game and the story make it unique and fun to play . Also, humours and romance make it so enticing to continue. And, the combination of camera aspect and animation make the game so alive, awesome concept overall.
Ch 1-2 seems to be 'intro', 3-6 'buildup', and 7a-7b 'climax'. So it seems the next one will be the 'end game'?

Lots of fetish, great renders, perhaps not a style of render for everyone, but well made. Story can feel typical, but you can't reinvent the classics. Girls are varied and well thought out. Great sex scenes. CREAMPIES!!
