She's the main love interest in On My Own and Oh My Love, and a secondary character in Love Thy Neighbor. Can anyone identify the assets I would need to recreate that character (or a reasonable facsimile thereof)? I have some familiarity with messing around in Daz, but I'm not immersed in it to be able to recognize particular assets and stuff.

The hair is and looking at the model used is the same you are looking for

And the character is already named Josina

Oh wow, he pretty much used that face right "off the rack," didn't he? Basically all he did was make the boobs bigger.

That's extremely helpful already, but would you by any chance also happen to recognize any of those outfits? I'm guessing is the towel.

Okay, so I just did a quick browse through all the outfits for Genesis 3 female. I found the , the , and the . Also a which she wears in other scenes that I didn't attach. But I didn't see anything that looked like a match for the business suit or the other floral dress.

Well, here's a basic proof of concept. Didn't change anything except enlarging the breasts.

I think the reason there isn't much interest in making any fan art for Slonique games is that he never finishes any and just milks his patreons for more money without ever delivering on any promises. Good luck finding people to participate.

I did do one render, but it will be the last, nothing real exciting to see when a dev uses pretty much straight out of the box models.

To be completely honest, I started this thread less because I wanted to just make static fan art, and more because I'm working on the early stages of a mod to essentially pick up where Slonique left off with On My Own. I totally agree about the frustration of him abandoning projects, and that's exactly why I want to learn how to recreate these models, so I can make some attempt at extending the project that he abandoned. You're clearly better at Daz than I am, any interest in participating?

rb813 Honestly, I don't have time to participate, and I am not very good at DAZ. I am learning, but my modeling experience is with mechanical CAD.

One thing is for sure, if you are trying to extend Slonique's work at least you will have intros to all the characters, (since that's about the length of all his work ). Good luck with your project. Also since all his stuff in Ren'py I would familiarize myself with UnRen and unpack all his stuff to see how he started all his games. That might make it easier since you will see all his code and how he structured his array of variables.

Something just made me think of this thread, and I thought it might be worth giving it a poke on the off-chance that you're going crazy in self-isolation and would like a hobby project to take your mind off of things. I haven't worked on the mod much since back when the thread was started, but I wrote down a few pages of notes, so it wouldn't be too hard to pick it up back up. I know you don't think you're good at DAZ, but you're clearly way better than me, just based on a comparison of our samples. I'm kind of an all-or-nothing type of guy; I don't want to do something unless I can do it well. I don't want to put new art in a mod unless it looks good, and your art does look good as far as I'm concerned. So I guess I just wanted to check in and see if anything had changed in terms of you having time to participate (I feel like this is pretty much the peak time for people not having enough to keep them occupied, though I suppose the type of person who would be good at DAZ or CAD would also probably be more likely to have a work from home job).

Still no time, been busy since the outbreak as I do stuff for an industry that is considered essential (not medical in any way) and at the same time I am building a new PC. Getting harder to get parts as people are even panic buying PC components, I guess they are all going to wipe their asses with GPUs when the TP runs out.

I don't know, maybe there are more PC's being built because more people are working from home now. Oh well, I guess I'll just focus on tweaking the dialogue here and there instead of drastically expanding the story. If your schedule ever changes (or if you ever feel like just doing an isolated image now and then), you know where to find me.
