VN - Ren'Py - Completed - Intimate Relations [v1.0] [PTOLEMY]

Enjoyed the game, liked the daughter's character, her visuals and personality, but there are flaws in the game like some design oversight and some bugs. The story takes a different approach to the typical incest story which can be avoided or ended during the story, where the characters actually question what is happening and what the consequences are and there is a nice variety in story progression choices for the three main charachters, except for one choice that was unaccounted or ignored due to oversight. Overall a good game and I hope it won't be abandoned before finished.

I really liked this game. A lot more than I thought I would. The characters are good, I like the branching pathways, the character models are gorgeous.

The writing is good. There are some spelling and grammar errors throughout, but that's something I've come to expect with these games and it's no where near the worst I've seen. I really like the wit the characters have. The only real criticism I would levy is that while I like how Kelly can be savage to people that piss her off she comes across as a bit villainous in her internal monologues as she tried to press and manipulate the relationship with Andrew.

I said the character models were gorgeous and they are for the most part, but Andrew's model probably could have been better. I know he's supposed to be in his late 40's/early 50's, but he could have been in a little better shape than that.

Also, While Kelly is gorgeous and has a great body she also has a giant bubble butt that just sticks out. I know some people are into that, but it just looks disproportionate and silly to me. It didn't ruin her for me though.

If not for these few things I would have given the game 5 stars. Nevertheless, I really look forward to this game being finished.

One last thing, I'm excited at the prospect of pregnancy being added to the game. Especially when it's being hinted at being done in the prospect of a blossoming relationship. Right now it's only hinted at with the doctor, but I also hope they add the possibility with the wife, secretary and Kelly.

I think that's probably what I like most about this game. There's no hooky bullshit in it. It's an actual story about people and relationships and a psychological condition that I didn't even know was real.

Pretty Good

Didn't know what to expect with this game initially. Most of the characters are forgettable but the writing is solid. The Dev's previous game is highly recommended although I couldn't get into that game I figured this would be a chance to witness the writing everyone raves about without having to play the previous game.

- Male Characters break the immersion. They don't have to be super models but they also shouldn't be the token villain from every other porn game.
- Plot is sometimes confusing even for a porn game.

The models are kinda cute . but the MC's model . . fuck . . Made me hate the game soo much more . My least favourite ptolemy game . The story is a bit weird or not ( Incest Is Wincest ) . I really liked Kelly but her model alone is not worth to sit through the whole game

Good plot and characters with great scenes and with MC with being on an advantageous position. If animations would have been more realistic than it would be five star rating. P;lease keep going and keep the good work. All the best for future plans.

It's most like a visual novel. From the previous version to this one, a lot of changes happen, but not necessarily good, even most boring.
If you expected most relation with Karen, you'll be disappointed
Theorically, supposed to be a D-D relationship, but somehow begin to transverse the history and well, convert to a boring novel. Maybe a future release can correct the trama

The game boasts three main characters that you can control at various times. The choices you can make for the characters are split between bold and timid options. However, these choices don't always match up to the characters actions. For example, Christine will end up acting far more timid and submissive if you choose all the bold options. The choices are few and far between, so you end up with a whole lot of auto dialogue and not much control over the characters.

The writing is pretty damn awful. The characters are very inconsistent, the situations are completely unrealistic, and the game tries so hard to make the characters flawed that you end up with nobody to root for because their flaws are so overdone that most of the characters end up being entirely unlikable. Andrew and Kelly in particular are exceptionally despicable characters who treat everyone like garbage, and yet they are the writer's darlings, so everything just goes their way.

There is a fair bit of sexual content in the game, including some nicely animated scenes. Unfortunately, the men are disgusting, so that puts a big damper on things. The game also has a lot of really creepy "no means yes" vibes to it, which I wasn't comfortable with.

I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone.

I loved this game for months... afer all it was the only one that worked around the Electra complex.... but then the writing made a U turn on it and here we are, with a daughter that is supposedly mental about her father, but she's not jealous, gets friendly, even daty with other people and sees the father/daughter relationsip as something wrong.
to say something positive about it....the renders and animations are great, but that's to be expected from a PTOLEMY game. But as a player that loved the premise of the story, I felt betrayed ad backstabed

First of all let me clarify one thing. PTOLEMY has turned adult games into an art form (I think he could possibly make a living as a professional writer), so I am gonna criticize it as such.
Most of the father-daughter incest games tend to follow the same trend, (possibly set by DMD) - the father has to break through the daughter's inhibition and make her fall for him. This games takes the complete opposite approach, and to a good effect. The daughter is the one taking the decisions, and she is not immature/naive like the daughters from many other games. She knows what she is doing. "Don't worry, dad! I'm not stupid. I'm not trying to be your wife" - it's almost like this game is laughing at the naive storylines of other games.
At some moments this game filled me with disgust, and yet at the same time filled me with sexual excitement. And that is the point - the focus of this game is Lust, not Love. The characters are giving in to their dark desires, the game doesn't try to justify their behavior as being natural/good but portray them as they are. While in other games you are making the MC fuck their daughters and yet at the back of your mind you are thinking it's just a stupid game - in this game it almost feels real. You may not like everything the characters do, but you realize where they're coming from. And here lies the success of a writer, he did not give me what I wanted but rather made me change my perspective and see what he wanted me to see. Kudos to PTOLEMY for his awesome job.
The games main focus is on Kelly - the daughter. My reaction in getting to know this girl - OH MY GOD! What a dangerous girl. I would surely be in trouble if I were to have a daughter like her. She seems to care for her father a lot, but she is not perfect, none of the characters in this game are. The complexity of the characters in this game is one of the things I appreciate most. Moreover the fact that you do not play as any one of them, but rather as an outside observer makes it easier to drive the game in the direction you want. It also makes it possible to take morally questionable decisions without any guilt/remorse - "it's not me who is doing those things, what's the problem ".
However, there are several flaws in this game that I would like to point out. Unlike Kelly, the father doesn't seem to have a strong personality. Maybe at some points, the storyline demands it - yet I don't think being sexually attracted to your daughter implies that you should totally submit to her every wish. Also, I could not appreciate Kelly's friend Darla, she runs around naked in front of her friend and her friend's dad - however shameless she might be, that seems too much - to the point of being unrealistic.
Overall, this game takes incest seriously and weaves a deep and interesting story around it. The sexiness of this game is in the story, much more than it is in the sex scenes/sexual encounters. If you think you can appreciate that, you would love this game, just like me.

I like this game! Damn good renders. Women are very beautiful and hot. Story is good! They are decisions that can change the game story. Kelly is my favorite. Finally we have not a shy but bold character!

Wonderful female MC (Kelly, the D) and some secondaries. Interesting story. Terrifying little child, though, a nightmarish mix of Chucky and Gary Coleman, which fortunately appears only in a couple of scenes

I really enjoyed the overarching plot and twists in this game, as it encompasses all the classic elements of a good story. Although the standalone routes weren’t by any means remarkable, they were great at building suspense and a sense of urgency to figure out the pieces of the puzzle in order to solve the mystery. The universe of this games grows increasingly more complex and interesting the further you delve into the storyline. This demonstrates solid world-building and good storyline pacing by the writers.

Ptolemy, author of this game, reaches perfection in the way he desires.

This game is no exception. It brings real-life family drama to next level. I impose that most important word is "real", drama goes after it.

Most of the times "real" means "understandable". All characters have realistic approach, all setup is more or
less authentic.

Well, at the same time it means "boring" too.

The only two drawbacks I can see is no way you can escape sexual relations with daughter and awfully long and dull character development. It's not bad, not ugly as in most "milking" games but this game has much narrative dialogues that some kind of lead nowhere. Yeah, they explain characters but they are as dull as we are in our lives.

Still, game is quite fun and has much of Ptolemy's talent. I believe that he will be able to thread all the lines to beautiful culminations.

i am realy not a fan on incest. ist just compleetly arkward. and the whole situation in this game is arkward. it make to play the game hard. i Like it in a way or in an other way. i Like the art and i Like the Slutty Friend of her. Intimate Relations is a pretty decent story of a father trying to keep his family together in the only way he knows how? But the truth of the story is that it is decently written, with a good smattering of smutty lemons thrown in for good measure. The renders are stimulating, stylish and above all remarkably well done. The only thing keeping this game from a perfect rating is that the story-line is old hat, with some unexpected drop-ins of random character situations. Ptolemy does try to keep it fresh, but the story doesn't feel cohesive at this moment in time [Version 0.45].

All right. First, I'm a fan of PTOLEMY other games. This is my personal opinion about Intimate Relations [v0.43]
This game is really well made. I'm sure other you can read that in other reviews.
What I don't like is a story. Multiple protagonists is a good idea. But this really just father/daughter sexual relationship novel. After seeing father's face in many other games, I just can't stand him.
In some other incest games you can choose sleep or not to sleep with your daughter.
In here theres no real choice. Pretty daughter is a jelous slut that want's be intimate with his ugly father, it's not really your choice.
It's good game, but not mine kind of game.
It's good game if you don't mind that. But in my case - no thank you. Im sure to never play this again.

The story is so far pretty good i think the daughter part was a little rushed and good have been better and a little more back story would have been nice. The art is good along with animation and it is nice seeing a more normal MC.

There are about 1300 renders in this game. About 50-70 are sex. You have to go through tons & tons of the most boring dialogue & non-sexual renders before you get to some decent content.

The developer wasted too much rendering effort on non-sexual images.

You literally go to the doctors office, go to the store, make small talk and tons of other extremely boring scenarios over & over again. Eventually you'll get so bored that when you get to a sex scene you're already bored out of your mind.

The render quality is good. Christine & the daughter are attractive. The rest of the women are ugly. This game is a huge fail as a porn game in my opinion.

In this game.. start was not so good, even Mc with his gray balding head is not so good to look at but it shows some kinky situations in good realistic light. Not only kiny but most of them really. Some things are stretched and even impossible but what does one expect from erotic game.
At first realistic bush on doughters pussy was a turn off for me, but within one update from start to finish I got used to it. Some trimming migh be nice but not shaving all of it.

I played through it yesterday. Its got some content and most of it is the NTR part. The plot is okay but i still think DmD did the father-daugher thing a little bit better. Definitely gonna check it out again in the future. The renders are pretty nice and i didnt encounter any bugs.
