If your culture is inside the region in those options but has a significantly different opinion from other cultures, please introduce it.

I heard someone say Western male doesn't care about virginity since the mainstream Western media always try to show virginity doesn't even matter, but what people say is different from what they actually do.

I decided to figure out if it's true at least in this forum because I believe we dirty perverts have no need to tell lies here. No one would judge your choice, and feminists won't make you lose your job.

The more conservative groups here in the USA, particularly the religious right and old timers like the Amish, Quakers, and even many Mormons all preach that a girl cannot have sex until marriage and that marriage is final. Which means if she gets a divorce for any reason, she is shunted as a failure in their eyes. If she has pre-marital sex, she is an unclean filthy prostitute who has no worth and is less to them than a pig in mud. I've had contact with several people like that here in the USA and that's what they preach to the ladies and it's like "you have to be pure until marriage and when your marriage is decided, that is who you're with for the rest of your life. No exceptions! If you get divorced, it's because YOU FAILED AT YOUR ONLY JOB." But I'm a male and I've heard what those pastors say. When I was at a fundamentalist Mormon church (I was staying with friends in the area) and I was told that if I join, I can choose someone for life and I don't have to worry about her being unfaithful to me. And he even said that it's the whole purpose of raising girls. I told him that I wasn't interested in a mindless slave. I like my ladies with a backbone. If she's had other men before me and still prefers me, I'm the top dog, right? Isn't that a bigger boost to your ego over a mindless devout?

I'm Brazilian, so I dunno how "Western" I am, but in my eyes, nah. To me, virginity's just a binary. You have it or don't. What's more important, in my eyes, is how often someone has sex. If they're getting railed every two days, there might be something awry in their life, and I'd, statistically, have a higher chance of STD.

Not that my take matters much since I'll die a virgin. But still. That's my two cents.

"On paper," like some religious contexts, I believe Westerners, or Americans specifically, have preferences toward virgin women. This to me serve two functions:
1. It eliminates, especially for men, the inferiority complex that their women are not cheating on them or that they are in some way being cucked. Plus, this also gives them a certain guarantee in paternity that whatever children come out of the virgins women are indeed theirs.
2. Virginity has a certain value of being "pure" or "unspoiled." This perhaps plays into certain fetishes of sadism and corruption that play well within a fictional mindset and pornography.

The concept of virginity in actual culture, as whippetmaster has said, is insisted due to religious influence. It can slightly be argued as a matter of sexual health and diseases as well but that is very small in comparison with religion. And from my experience in America, I have come across both sides of the aisle. The older generation (between 40s and 60s), especially religious ones do indeed expect some aspects of "purity." They don't downright discriminate against those women but there is still a clear preference. Unless they're very old and just don't care as long as they have a companion to be with. The younger generations, on the other hand, tend to be more liberal in the sense that they don't really mind as long as the sex is good and safe.

Getting to be someone's first can add some excitement, but it's not something I will actively seek out. I'm also not going to turn someone down based on whether or not she's a virgin.

Australia, Western Europe, and the American continents are generally considered "Western". Reject that and accept the Eastern tradition of becoming a Wizard as a 30 year old virgin. I hear that if you reach 50 you become a Great Sage and the voice of an archangel speaks in your head.

Men say they want a woman who is good in bed - how do they get that way? Practice.

And I agree that it is much more calming for my mind if a woman has had sex with other men and prefers to be with me, because she's obviously sampled the flavors and thinks I'm the top pick. That's a much larger ego boost than her saying I'm the best because I am literally the only sample in her sample size. That's not winning. That's being the default.
