Is anyone else who uses JoiPlay is having these kinds of problems?

Go to settings in JoiPlay and select the game in the drop down menu at the top. Now open RPG settings and enable/disable "Use PixiJS v5" at the bottom of the list. Now save (the floppy in the bottom right of the screen) and start the game.

A little above the PixiJS setting is "Update CoreScript" and at the bottom of HTML is "Allow External Modules". Disabling these can also help fix issues with RPG-Maker MV/MZ games. Like missing UI parts / text for example.

Leaving them enabled works in general, but sometimes something bugs out and these functions cause trouble for specific games instead. Just a little trial and error, and (all)most all games should work.
