Turns out, the version of Tachiyomi I use needed an update, after I reset all of my login info

can someone help me out i created an e-hentai account almost 2 years ago and am trying to figure out how to access exhentai but even after following instructions i get a blank white screen on exhentai
If you already have an e-hentai account (I heard this might not work if your e-hentai account is too recent, I don't know the details about this or if this is even true) :
1) close all your browser windows opened on the e-hentai or exhentai addresses
2) delete all cookies related to e-hentai or exhentai
3) close your browser
4) open your browser
5) login to the e-hentai forum (and also e-hentai if loging into the forum didn't logged you into it)
6) go to exhentai Don't ask me why, it is weird, but it usually doesn't work immediately (blank screen). Try coming back to the site (without redoing the previous steps, just retry going to exhentai) the next 1-3 days.

If you have the blank white screen, basically, you have to track and delete a cookie named "yay"
On Firefox :
Go on exhentai.com (on the blank white screen)
Press F12 (or Click the top right button "Open Application Menu" (it's the button with the 3 horizontal lines, should be on the top right). Additional Tools Web Development Tools)
a window opens at the bottom of the page
In this new window, select Storage -> Cookies
Select yay -> Right click -> Delete yay
Restart your browser
Login to e-hentai.org
Then visit exhentai
TLDR : find and remove the yay cookie, then, just to be sure, restart your browser, and login to e-hentai.org before visiting exhentai.

Do you get a blank page or something else ? Maybe you can try again after log in to the e-hentai forum first (maybe you both need a cookie from there and then delete the yay cookie).
white blank page and i also tried logging in e-hentai since i saw i was logged out but still the same as well as deleting yay cookie. also i cannot open the page on edge and chrome. it has the same white blank page
Same thing for me. Tried deleting the yay cookie and refreshing and nothing changed.
i tried doing it again but nothing happens. if it was only cookies i think the site should open on another browser unless i am wrong on how i understand how cookies work
so i noticed in google it says no information is available for this page

It never ceases to amaze me how often people prove themselves incapable of following simple instructions, skipping steps or doing them in the wrong order because they assume the rules don’t apply to them.
