Hello everyone,
Quick question probably long answer but is it legal to use pornstars in a porn game (e.g a spell for all, the litilth device.) If they are credited or something? I just want to make a game but I am far from artistically good...

I'm not 100%. If you plan on making a small game I would say go for it. If the game starts getting steam I would change the names slightly. But I don't think pornstars would sue small-time game devs for using their name.

The short answer is "no." In general, you're not allowed to use someone else's name/reputation/image for your own profit without their permissions. There are certain limited "fair use" provisions for people that could be considered "public figures," but as soon as someone "famous" is used in a way that is essentially a major character in your game or a major draw to it, you're over the line. It's no different than if Wheaties stuck someone's face on their box without paying them.

Whether they come after you or not is an entirely different matter.

Ok, thanks. That's kind of what I thought. What about assets from Daz? I believe it's called. Is there any chance of getting in sh*t there?

As long as you are making a virtual novel and the assets are only in images, you are fine.

Once you use their assets in a 3d environment (an interactive game where you could walk around for example) you will need an interactive license
