I hate to make a thread like this but I found that most of the games here are no longer as interesting as they did few years ago. They were either abandoned or took too much time for an update. Even more infuriating that some of the abandoned games still make money. The ongoing games took too much time for an update(yes, I'm looking at you Summertime Saga). Most of the newer ones are uninteresting copy-paste of the older ones. I'm not even talking about games that revolves on my least favorite fetishes such as NTR, extreme form of femdom(male MC got treated like a trash by women around him), extreme form of maledom(vengeful, misogynistic male MC who treats all women like sex slaves), rape, sex slavery and such.
I think some of these game got too ambitious than the developers initially anticipated. Take Love and Sex: Second Base for an example. In my opinion the game might be better it had fewer characters, focusing on MC's roommates and to some extend his ex-girlfriend but instead it too many characters with too little development each of them. They exists solely for sex scenes alone because that's what most its backers and patrons want anyway. Even worse it introduced a playable female MC and some men she can hook up with which I think making this game a bigger mess. Same thing can be said to Summertime Saga as well. The developer just want to focus on the mother/landlady, sister/roommate, childhood friend and the school's alpha bitch but it too had too much characters because its patrons want more and more sex, less story and character development. Not to mention with developer's private life as he is now married and have three kids. The youngest one were born earlier in this year.
As for newer games they become less and less interesting as most of them are carbon copies of existing ones or revolves on fetishes which I hate. Due to competition among them only very few of them worth playing. Unsurprisingly none of the game debuting in this year caught my attention. Now I started to think the entire industry may have been fake. Just another way for some people to scam horny or at least curious people out there.
