VN Is it possible to edit VN's images that uses .gax and .data files

I've got some few VN's that doesn't use rempy (not sure what engine it used) and I wanted to modify some of the images and such for experimentation and personal use. However, its CG folder is filled with .gax and .data files. The voice folder is also only 1 file with a .pck format.
That all said, is it possible to convert them to their original file for modificatiton?

I know it's possible to work with them because NTR Homestay was translated, and it uses the .gax. But "how" is another story
