This neanderthal thinking, painting with large brush strokes is funny. In a year, 90% plus of games on here are going to use AI in some form or the other. Some of the games will be slop, some will be very good (just like non AI ones). We do need different variations of AI tags on this site though rather than just AI CG.
Of course 90% of games are going to use AI because most devs are talentless hacks and worthless gooners lmao. There will be no good games coming and you all deserve it.

Older women Tags aren't about older women.
These tags are about fuck-huge women with big tits and big ass; and every other shit fetish that effectively reduces quality below 0.
There is no competition.

In my opinion AI is just a tool. There's good and bad use of any tool.

I don't mind games that use AI to assist with development so long as it has a good story and is well made. I don't think developers should shy away from it or fully relying on it, like many things, truth is often somewhere in between.

Personally I would agree that as a tool AI has uses, it's the over reliance on it which is the issue as this can be easily seen and can cause a project to lack any real soul..

AI writing is ridiculously bad.

Language is used to describe things that exist and have characteristics that go beyond words. Ai cant even understand what the words mean, it just a game of playing with the algorithm, so it cant help but to be generic. It is all about deceiving someone into believing that what it is said makes any sense.

The difficult thing is that people are getting dumber, and were shaped into animalistic consumers for the last few decades. So there are people who cant even perceive that. This is the reason why they consume trash. This was true before Ai, and it can get worse now.

Now, when it comes to images, the logic is similar, but it tends to be less obviously bad when compared to the atrocious generative text. Even so, it is usually also quite generic and repulsive.

You want something done right, do it yourself. AI technology relies on Machine Learning, aka RNG rewarded and "trained" over time. If you have a clear vision for something, hoping an AI spits out something "good enough" probably won't cut it as a way of making a game. Or even just a scene or a dialogue or an image, etc. "Generative" AI (generously labelled as such) is great at regurgitating the data it has been fed, but it will forever lack creativity. It's good for if you want something like a deepfake or some random one-off RP situation. Bad if you want something more meaningful to happen. Like, yeah, "Agentic AI" can code if you can't, but fat chance debugging it. Or stopping it from erasing your hard drive or leaking your data to its corpo overlords. Everything surrounding AI currently smells rotten. Sure, you can wank to it, but beyond that? Almost anything else it can do creatively you could do better. The one use case I've seen AI technology as truly better left to its purview is sorting garbage: the AMP plant and trash waterfall in Denver. Nobody wants to do that job and the machine is orders of magnitude faster at it.

AI is a tool, the problem is that there are too many people who aren't using it as a tool, but as a way to do everything for them without putting any effort into it.

And the other problem with AI is that in order to "train" it to the point it's at now, the AI companies had to do a lot of illegal crap, like upload books, art, websites, coding, etc., without consulting the people who created it first, into the AI's database. So a lot of people see anything made by AI as being tainted, because in order for it to generate that image, or short story you prompted it to do, it's basing it all on the info that was illegally uploaded without the creator's permission. And the AI companies have basically admitted that yes, they did steal from other people, but they figured it was easier to ask for forgiveness then get permission.

Now I'll admit not all AI companies have done this... the problem is the ones who haven't are the ones being developed for specific specialized fields, like for the medical and scientific communities. And those open up a whole bag of other issues that should be discussed and debated on as how to best go about it in the most ethical way that would help, not hinder, humanity.
