Is RPGmaker free trial the only good easy way for a noobie to make a game?

Depends on what type of game you want to make. Generally, Renpy and RPGM are both pretty easy at the basic level. Personally, if you want to make an rpg, use rpgmaker. If not, use renpy.

I don't get how to work renpy though. Scripts? I don't get this. And how do I add images to each scene. I use an AI generator atm but how do I get models and stuff?
