Except they're the ones who got greedy and went out of their way to court new big investors and quickly bent knee to their new banking overlords at the expense of those who got them where they are in the first place. Making them a bit more complicit than entry-level service industry drudges.

No, only asking people to remove content against the terms of service, the people "banned" are the ones who had no way of adapting because their patreon was entirely based on forbidden content.

It's Paypal and Stripe. There are other ways to market your game, but you will earn more money on Patreon because people trust it more. Because people trust Paypal and Stripe.

So, apparently, Paypal and Stripe aren't even the maijor culprit on Patreon's recent behavior.
The major issue here, is that just two years ago, Patreon was greeted for making their platform a safe house for adult content creators and for making paypal more "porn-friendly".

My mistake. But it also seems like they aren't changing the guidelines, just enforcing them a bit more, which is why people are getting suspended.
If it is PayPal and porn being the issue they should really go 100% with that stance and not just fuck with small fish.

Because some creators didn't carefully read guidelines when creating their pages. All Patreon did is enforce the guidelines that have been up for almost a year.
Maybe it's cause I'm in a different country, but you can't get Brazzers with Paypal here. All I see is Credit Card, Crypto, or Check

What's mortifying is seeing three to four separate threads concerning the same subject: Patreon censorship. There's five.right now on the top pages. FIVE. It's like seeing those "Your Top 10 Games" over and over again.

I read some of it and it sounded like banks are behind it an if that is the case why do banks even care how people spend their money in fact why does anyone care? I understand wanting no nude pics on Patreon since a kid may see it but what i don't get is the attack on porn since most kids in today's world see it every where from magazines to ads even movies and music with rap songs having girls pretty much naked shaking ass in the camera's face. No matter what they do most people in today's world are gonna know by the age of 12 all about lewd things.
They are gonna have to ban movies, music, manga, anime, porn sites, Twitter, FB and thousands of other sites.
The issue is the parents need to keep a better eye on their kids.
What is really going on IMO is a bunch of crazy old hags an feminist who are ugly and jealous are trying to ban it along with some religions and some crazy 70 plus year old politicians, most people either want porn left alone or don't care and have no opinion on it, so it has to be what i said a few people bitching trying to ruin it.
The only thing i say should be banned is ********** stuff and real life rape, all other porn should be allowed, i may even agree with real life bestiality and real life incest being banned but pretty much everything else should be allowed.

That's the wrong place to look at it, if a kid sees free porn, it's the parents fault, if someone sells porn to kids it's also fault of the people who sold it. The same applies for the others, the content banned are things that are either illegal or barely legal, like effective prostitution, underage porn and glorification of illegal activities like incest and rape.
Well, now there is an age verification required to visualize NSFW pages on patreon.
