I admit the story wouldn't be as good without the push towards the adult content, but I would say the story is the primary thing of that game.

That aside, you're going to find it difficult to find any NSFW games that aren't built primarily around the adult content. Perverts tend to be the main market for adult content, and most Patreon devs, at the least, need to focus on their market first to ensure they are able to work on the game at all.

I see a lot of folks have given some good suggestions... But looking at your list... Dating My Daughter, at least the 1st chapter, had a lot of story... It was a slow build up... Yes, it does have some sex now and then, but it's more a romance story with regards to the father and daughter part of the story... Now, in chapter 2, there is definitely a lot more focus on the sex content... And Dreams of Desire, it started slow as well, but yes, it become pretty much a back to back porn sex fest after a short while and the story gets kind of pushed aside for several different chapters, which is why I stopped playing it around chapter 9 or so... Big Brother, I will not get into, mostly for sake of keeping yet another BB bashing discussion from starting in yet another thread... And I agree on The Twist...

The issue you run into, and why it's sometimes so difficult to find a more heavily story driven adult/erotic visual novel/game, boils down to a bunch of various culprits... First, the market has been overly saturated for the last year or so with a lot of new visual novels and games, with folks trying to either jump on the gold rush band wagon that is Patreon, or they are trying to ride on the coat tails of the very few big hitters of the last couple years... Which boils down to a lot of folks scampering for their share of the money pot... So all that mess has the ripple effect of making it very hard to find that diamond in the ruff...

Then add in the fact that a lot of developers are either ill experienced, don't know any better, don't have the talent, etc. for writing a good story and then making that story driven type of game... Many see this industry as black or white, rather then many different shades of grey and other colors of the rainbow... So they stick to a formula they've either seen work a lot, or experienced a lot, or they just feel it would be easier to make a more porn focused VN/Game or attempt to add a balance of the two... Some do a fantastic job at the balancing act, and some fall short... In all those cases it comes down to developing some experience, having talent or not having talent, or lacking the motivation to break of out the box...

I could keep going on, but I think you get the picture...

There are lots of story driven visual novels/game out there, but most are going to have sex and erotic stuff in them eventually... Some are great, some are so-so, and some may be a bit out there... Just how much are you trying to avoid the erotic content over just a normal story? Are you looking for a VN/Game that is primarily story focused with very little actual sex in it? I can recommend a few, and some you may like and some you may hate... Some are a complete tease, and some are going to have sex in them as the story progresses even though it's focused on story... Can you be a bit more detailed on what exactly you are looking for?

More importantly, if you mean more story as in way more text and development between sex scenes I recommend trying some Japanese VNs, slow progress unfortunately is not very compatible with the patreon model.

Look up the Mortze and Tlaero games. Yes, there's sex in them, being adult interactive novels, but they tend to be rather story driven. The dialogue option choices can be a bit punishing at times, but there are walkthroughs for those if you have need...
