Oh I see well that's definitely not for me then. I mean I can play games where I personally don't consider there the be love behind the sex but I have to switch my brain into a different gear you know? It's why I got bothered when in SEQUEL Colony there's a side scene where one of the girls is okay with fucking your clone in a MMF threesome and it really ruined the romance aspect for the character for me because my brain was in "romance" mode but if a character is willing to fuck other people it's kinda kills my vibe. I know for some people it's fine but personally it really kills the vibe for me.

On a side note I've played at least two harem games where they try and do this "I want to do a MMF scene with a clone" thing but the only way I'd even remotely consider that working for me would be if it's like some hive mind where the MC controls BOTH bodies at the same time like those fictional alien hiveminds you know? But in both SEQUEL and in Monster Girl 1000 the extra dudes are literal clones who you don't have control over at all so it just means you're getting cucked really which isn't great in a Harem game imo.

Personally I consider this post to be on topic since we're discussing the tags we'd like to see and what ruins it for us but I guess it's up to mods.

All other members of the group in that game are female btw, and the premise is that they will be very close to each other. Almost beyond love If I understand it correctly. So I'd say asking if their bond is genuine in the context of the story is moot.

But to address what you said...yea the only way I'd accept MMF is through direct shadowclones of the MC. If you know Naruto and Hinata you can imagine what I mean. I am a fan of sweet romance but am not opposed to some optional spice. Just depends on what that spice is.

I'm all fine for girls though, with my previous stipulations. Would not want a rogue hard core lesbian in the mix that actively avoids the MC the entire time, but I can deal with winning her over eventually. It's definitely a "feed my ego" scenario but w/e....so is a harem in the first place.

Ultimately a fan of choose your experience gameplay design as long as the core story and vision of the author permits it. Make everything optional and let the player decide how they want to go forward.

Hi, I noticed that even though I changed their relationship status at the begining of the game, they are set to their defult relationships during the actual game, at least when checking their profile in the book it is the defult relationship.

Yeah fair enough although I think with porn games lore comes AFTER the fetishes. The dev of OOT has a fetish for poly relationships with a lot of lesbians in it and then designed his lore around that fetish. I mean lorewise you can probably justify just about any fetish no matter how niche so personally I think it's a little bit of a moot point that the lore fits although you can argue that some devs don't even attempt to justify their mandatory fetishes so I guess it's nice that the dev actually put effort into it.

(Also I haven't watched Naruto yet so I'm not exactly familiar with the nature of shadow clones but I'm assuming it's more of a hive mind sort of clone rather than another individual being.)

There's also the potential issue of avoidable fetishes/relationships being that sometimes it's hard to move a story forward without assuming that the player has relationship with certain characters or whatever which is why it's often commonplace for harem games to force you to fuck all the girls regardless of whether you find that character to be unattractive because otherwise the porn is completely divorced from the story and the relationships can feel nonexistant outside of those specific scenes. So I do understand why devs sometimes force you to fuck girls you otherwise wouldn't or partake in mild fetishes you might not do if given the option because otherwise they don't have much common ground to work with.

Version numbers do not start at 1.0.

1.0 describes a completed game ready to ship to market. Your first release is only ever going to be 0.1 or 0.01. Patches and updates along the way will increment the version number towards being 1.0 at the end. This is very simple stuff all developers should know.

If you do decide on it in the future, you should definitely still make it one of several options in the scene that you don't have to pcik(make it optional).
Also if you put it in the planned tags section, make sure to put that it's only the MC's magic clones and not lookalikes or "real clones".

What developers know is that version number meaning is largely up to the code owner. It's common for products that are being made and released publicly in increments to just use the public release number as the major version. It's also a VN, not a software product that has to be able to document what versions of the product contain which features or have cross-compatible data formats to support users that still use older versions. I see this type of comment all the time on here and it's both wrong and pointlessly argumentative.

I want it, as someone who mostly plays only harem stuff and usually enjoys "magic clones" scenes. But it is something that isn't for everyone.
