The "problem" with the difficulty is that its curve starts off high. At the very beginning letting a single one of your girls get incapacitated for a day can effectively brick your playthrough. But once you get like 5 of them it becomes smooth sailing and only keeps getting easier and more monotonous.
You can recruit a bunch of them from the start. What you need to do, is to get them some practice before they get good enough at their jobs.
In many ways, it's like an RPG, where you start as a commoner who can barely fight a rat, but a few levels in, you're a formidable warrior.

You're absolutely right.. In fact... a lot of strategy games seem to have this characteristic in common. Once you get past the opening and get that snowball rolling.. the challenge is gone. And a lot of the fun too, though with this game at least we still have the porn to fall back on.

MS edge and Google chrome fail to run it
Failed to download file Build/1.8.4 html.data.gz. Loading web pages via a file:// URL without a web server is not supported by this browser. Please use a local development web server to host Unity content, or use the Unity Build and Run option.

when i open the web server to play the game it appears:

Unable to parse Build/1.8.4 html.framework.js.gz! This can happen if build compression was enabled but web server hosting the content was misconfigured to not serve the file with HTTP ,

it's only me or something is wrong?

My guess is, you are supposed to run the whole thing as a server in some environment. And only then the game would work.
But most people here lack the technical knowledge (and pre-installed HTML development environment) to make use of it.

What the message says: you must set up a local web server.
That, or you could let Chrome access local files (which is totally unsafe! Just fucking don't!)
So, unless you're worried about your privacy, just play the online version:

If you're interested in playing the game locally, there are some free tools available, such as (people use it to play Lessons of Passion games). Or you can even do it in Powershell.

Probably your web server cannot handle .gz files properly. I know mine can't, but I've found a way without external tools (see spoiler, ignore point 1):

What's wrong with the game? Why when unpacking the archive there is an html shortcut to run? Did the developer change the game engine?
since ages they provide html/webgl version and the usual executable. It is more visible on . You likely did use the first link from catbox which is the only one with the html version. Watch for win when downloading. (EDIT: oh - all versions have the html inside now. I do believe that might be an error on their side that will be fixed sooner or later. It's likely also why itch has been "quarantined")
If wanted I could later check whats needed to run it in browsers but last time where all links linked to the html version it didnt require any special steps. (btw my table only works with the win ver. EDIT: yeah they rly changed html for compressed files inside too. So incompatibility/insecurity vs. few mbs of the already extracted game, huh? They keep on doing the wrong decisions. But yeah a webserver is needed - alternatives: use with python -m http.server 8080 (resp. scrumbles's), with , , , , (and more caddy, mongoose, ....). For miniweb one might try too.

Alright everyone, as Nironan said, we usually provide html & exe, but no, this isn't a decision. We just got mixed up and uploaded the html version instead of the exe. It should be fixed now, no need the hassle of a webserver.

You can all just as usual and forget about this all, this was just a dumb oversight! :giggle:
