hey thanks man I appreciate it i've actually been paying attention to your thread as well so good luck yourself. Originally I wanted to have a demo with the combat by the end of the month but with it being close to christmas a few of the people i've commissioned for assets are slowing down, so if it's not by the end of the year then it will be january sometime.
wow this looks very promising, especially the chinese lightnovel magic-level ranking. I would maybe made an option for elder without glasses, not everyone's cup of tea
Sounds like a great game cant wait for the demo. Will there also be diffrent clothing options that are reflected in the charcacters design like in nymphomania priestess?
hmm, I didn't really think about glasses being a problem but they are easily removable. I guess there could be a toggle for those as well.
I have some ideas for clothing options but whether those will just be for scenes or everything, scenes and general walking around and combat It'll depend on how development goes. I would like to have them at some point.

Like the art, really looks great. Also a big fan of RPG and their game mechanics. Sadly its NTR focused. Surprised there is a Harem path planned when the NTR is finished tho. Kinda odd but thats good news for me I would say.

Hey thanks I appreciate it. I don't know how involved the hero/protagonist or harem path will be by the time the game's done. The way I was looking at it was is it really netorare if you are purposely losing battles or clicking the options that force the heroine to get ntr'd.
If you have the hero route even if its not super fleshed out it at least makes the ntr stuff makes more sense I guess as you would be trying to protect the heroine during fights or dissuade her from doing things with the villains only for those things to potentially happen anyway and obviously if there was a true hero route you could avoid all the ntr stuff completely.
I've been plotting the game to have room for those options to be developed, im sure down the line some stuff would have to reworked but im trying to be concscious of it as I build the scenes.
I think I mentioned it before but it's going to be the kind of slowburn netorare style not just instantly mindbroken from one goblin dick kind of thing, so there is a build up of some scenes with the protagonist and heroine before the bad netorare stuff happens which kind already does the groundwork for an eventual hero path I guess

OOF. That dosent sound good at all haha. But its a NTR game from the beginning so there is nothing really I can complain since this was your intention from the first place. Cant say much about Netorare or Netorase since I dont enjoy it. Exceptions is Netori but this game wont feature it. I was hooked by the art and the glimps that Harem would happen at some point made me curious. Of course because of the art haha ( The white chick blowjob is fucking hot.)
I guess I shall give it a try once the game hits the complete tag when I see it on the latest updates thread.
By the way, why would you even make a Harem Path in the first place ? Dont get me wrong, people like me would appreciate it since, like I already mentioned it, the art is not only a banger but I also enjoy RPG with good battle and inventory mechanics. But from what you plan and what your preferences they kinda in conflict with another. I bet you will craft the NTR good since this is your jam, but do you even know what makes a great Harem good, or what you called hero/protagonist ?
From my experiences almost all of them where you have a non-ntr path in a ntr-focused game are bland and cheap.
Perhaps you will be the first one to amaze me but only the future can say that for sure haha.
From the pics I saw at least thats what I can marvel at, and im not only talking about the porn stuff but also the RPG battle mechanics. (Would be also awesome if some have armour slots where you can change them and it also seen in their character sheet). Sadly since its a porn game and the stuff is what I cant swallow down is a bummer.

You're definitely right that games that tend to focus on the netorare side of things usually have pretty lackluster non-netorare side and I can't say this will be some amazing miracle that solves that issue I can only say that i'm going to try putting effort into it.
I can understand why people into harem stuff would probably shy away if a game that's so heavily focused on netorare said oh yeah there's a harem route as well for fear of the netorare stuff bleeding into that route or accidently going down that route if the game isn't clear enough in seperating them.
As for why there's harem stuff to begin with it's because I think slowburn netorare stuff is better when the protagonist starts up high and has more room to fall I guess.

Development Update #2
Hey guys! Another small update as I'm slowly chugging along and getting more of the artwork for the various scenes done as I work towards a demo. It honestly shouldn't be too much longer.
Pretty much all of Saphira's artwork has been finished for the combat, with multiple levels of clothing from fully dressed to naked, and then multiple expressions depending on her lust level.
The erotic splash images still need to be made, but for this first release, it's only going to be something simple like the bad guys ogling and teasing her.
A lot more work has been done to the combat system, and it's been heavily streamlined. I was overcomplicating it to make it more, uh, thematic or immersive, but with the way RPG Maker works, it was just too clunky and janky.
Before, I basically had two characters, the protagonist and the heroine, with the heroine randomly targeting enemies for a short period of time and the player basically locking what kind of skills she would use on her next attack, and while it worked, there was just too much to keep track of.
Now the protagonist's character is effectively removed from combat and you control the heroine, but all her skills are still themed or worded as if you're the protagonist, so you still give her commands, and it feels a lot smoother, as well as the turn order no longer cucking you, because before you would queue up the heroine to do a water attack, hoping to land a critical on the enemy, but because it waited a turn, the enemy could change his element from fire to earth and you'd get countered instead.
There are story reasons why the heroine, who is already a mage, is taking orders from a basically crippled commoner, but the short answer is that she gets too excited while fighting and doesn't pay attention to her surroundings, sometimes hurting her own teammates, giving her a bad reputation and no one wants to group with her anymore so the protagonist is basically there to guide her in combat to making hopefully better decisions but that's really up to you. hehe.
I have set up a basic Patreon page for people who are interested in the game and want to support the project, which, if you do, I can't overstate how much I greatly appreciate.
There aren't many incentives right now aside from special roles for the Discord server, which anyone can join, and high quality versions of the art from the game.

I remember there is somwhere here on this side a game where you have two protags. One big Brother which is the cuckold fetish, and the younger brother who is doing the stealing/netori. So basicly you play the same story but since you "switched" the characters both can enjoy it.
I also enjoy some corruption stories. " Isekai NTR ~Shinyuu no Onna wo Saikyou Skill de Otosu Houhou~ " Is what you just suggested where the Hero does the main thing and the MC is doing the NTR ( Netori ). This is possible but only if you also enjoy such stuff.
But like I said, the art really turned me on so even if its just the Gallery im interested, I will download it for sure when the first realse happens haha.

So far, the demo has the scenes that I've talked about and teased some images of, and the combat system is fully working with some lewd flavour dialogue from enemies as well as erotic splash images for enemies doing lewd attacks if the female protagonist has enough body part corruption.
The demo at this point is really just a showcase of the type of artwork you can expect from the game and the level of dialogue.
I've had a few people on the discord try it out and fix all the bugs they reported, and it all seems to be working fine, although I've had some issues with saving and loading, which sometimes work and sometimes don't.
I really haven't been able to narrow down what's causing that issue, but considering how there isn't really a lot to do right now in the demo, saving and loading isn't the biggest issue in the world.

it's mostly dating sim sandbox story progression for characters like summertime saga, but the combat is very much inspired by those games you mentioned it's more as flavour to make the combat more interesting than fully focusing on the combat as much as they do.
