Hey guys I was wondering if I was the only one who has this problem with dforce where the clothes just blobs to hell. It does happen for all clothes, and the time to finish takes forever.

Usually this is caused by the dress colliding with the character or other object at the beginning of the simulation.
Make sure the dress doesn't "fit" into the character.
It could also be because the dress collides with itself; you can change this in parameters, set the "Self Collide" to OFF.
Also, changing "Collision Mesh Resolution" to "Good..." instead of "Better..." or "Best..." can reduce the chances of this happening.
Also note that you can stop the summation at any time if the result is good, you don't have to wait for it to finish completely.
