Issues with 2 websites

Hi! I have issues with 2 websites rule34video.com & kemono.su.
Kemono barely loads and rule34 gives this:

504 - Gateway Timeout . That’s an error.

We did not receive a timely response from the upstream server. That’s all we know.

Anyone have any ideas?

don't know about the second one. but they are probably blocked by your internet provider. that happened to me in my country (Norway)

First, see if your ISP has a list of banned sites or content. If not, try using

or similar alternatives, to confirm that it isn't on your side. After that, get a free VPN, either through a website directly, as an extension, or desktop application. Use whichever you find more convenient. In essence, use it to exclude your country or potentially even ISP by using a Finnish VPN & then a different one, from some other country, preferably the US because they block the least or so I think.

If you cannot reliably exclude your ISP and if the VPN works with a Finnish IP and if you can also access the sites with a US one or similar, there might be some kind of issue with your browser, perhaps related to old, expired cookies. Try the sites with a different browser, even better if you can try on a different device with the same ISP.

500 error codes means the problem is on their end, not yours. I've had this happen to me as well. Servers overloaded from too many people trying to upload stuff at the same time most likely. Were you trying to access rule34video after 8 PM? Between 8 PM and 11:30 PM is when rule34video is the busiest and most likely fails because almost all of the regular uploaders post their videos at that time.
