Why are Japanese adult games not as popular as Western counterpart? Or is it only prevalent on this forum? For example Rance series is a very good quality comparable imo to top hits like milfy city, treasure of nadia, and yet it has much less relevance here?

It'd help if they weren't awfully grindy, aren't build to waste your time and had dialogue you might want to read, had anatomically correct bodies, weren't censored or overly reliant on tropes and had some amount of originality and wit to them.
Translations of such games are on the level where you should learn japanese or not play them.
Sengoku rance has alright gameplay, but the porn part is worthless thanks to it being japanese. Good asian games come out of korea or china since they're less burdened by jap baggage.

if curious about why jap game has low view than western game
first a lot of jap game are already complete so there will only show to see and recheck 1 time so it just normally to have less view than western that often update they game
second i think this web only show jap game that already tranlated but they have many tool to autotranlate jap game so this website it not the best web to find jap game someone like me just look to other web to find adult jap game to play btw

Western devs focused on patreon often releases small patches that keeps their post floating up on the trending page, as compared to Japanese devs that are pretty much non-existent here and release mostly full games just once.
I personally prefer Japanese games because of their superior gameplay but it is also hard to put in a tag here to sift the trash ones from the gold. People whine about any bits of grind these days but they forget we are playing GAMES not watching slideshows.
Many westerns games below 4 stars are quick flaps or kinetic novels in chapters, though that doesn't mean highly rated ones have good gameplay, some get high ratings from just high quality CG with a simple plot.

To be clear, there are some Japanese games that are less built around pandering and less deranged, and some get released without censorship and with a proper localization (publisher Kagura). But they're the exception.

I think that a lot of people that like japanese games use other sites to download and browse these games (there are a lot) as for western made games I think this might be the only one site that has such a complete collection of western games to download from.
Also again a big portion of people are okay with just vanilla sex with maybe incest or harem added, while japanese games are usually a lot more kinky/hardcore. This is likely to turn away many.
And as someone who favors japanese games over western my opinion is that western games usually have mediocre to good stories with badly written sex scenes, while the japanese games have a lot more better written sex scenes but the story itself is often lacking in quality. The problem is that we need a translated version. Otherwise it won't be accepted in f95. That's why there are so few.
Generally speaking, japanese games are way better than their western counterpart. But not many get translated.
