what game?
did you use Japanese locate to play?
how did you unzip/unrar it?

Check the file to make sure it's there. Also makes sure the Japanese wasn't messed up during extraction, if so download the Japanese language pack, and maybe use something that can extract...

Like Bandizip or WinRAR. If everything looks fine try using, or emulating Japanese locale.
