As per description under Features:

This mod turns Mr. Parker into Jessica's grandfather.

It basically changes the name of the character and rewrites the dialogue to make sense.

I haven't tested it, but you should be able to use it since it only changes some of the dialogue.

Yes it does, here's a screenshot.

Just add "game" folder inside "hard.news" folder > files > add the game folder there. So there's two folders there "save"and "game". Then, copy and paste the patch files to game folder. Make sure the game is not running in the background before you paste the files.

no it can't as it triggers the end sequence at where game version 0.30 ends

not sure, iirc the only thing this patch did was make the old guy at the newsstand her father/grandfather

As said prior, it was abandoned sadly, it worked great for the update it was for, the actual game Dev hated the mod, and the mod Dev never updated it sadly again.

Does seem like a little time and effort to do some active find and replace in the 0.45 .rpy files, should be able to replicate/update the mod to make it work.

EDIT: I stand corrected, does require a little extra attention to detail here and there.

Should work with Ver 0.45 (Day 13). Past Day 9, the text is game text (luckily quite good) with required modifiers and not as highly customized dialog like what ficticious did. Same installation and precautionary backup steps should be taken. Enjoy
