Overview:
Jiggly Jigsaw is a puzzle game featuring 50 different jigsaw puzzles that you can complete, as well as a lot of breasts. There are three ways to select your puzzles (picking whichever you want, randomizing until you find one that suit your fancy, or going in blind), and you can play at 5 difficulty levels, ranging from easy, which is a 16 piece puzzle to expert level (400 pieces).
Each game is timed, and the game keeps track of the puzzles you've completed as well as of the best times you've made for each of them.

A) Even with animation at the end of the puzzle/minefield re-using the same pics and asking for support is extremely cheesy and very low budget.
B) Please rephrase your "Piracy" message. You can't call anything piracy if you actively give it away by uploading it here yourself.

Ambir you might want to post your game on steam (steam has a big porn *puzzle* community)
I don't believe steam will accept KK assets, so it's pretty dead for this version. Once I finally get used to Daz, I might do so, however.

A) Even with animation at the end of the puzzle/minefield re-using the same pics and asking for support is extremely cheesy and very low budget.
To clear things up, I reused a single picture. I developped this game and the Valentine's special at the same time. I remember making this one and putting it as a main menu image for Jiggly Jigsaw as kind of a placeholder. However, I just really like it, and I think I just forgot to change it, because it looks so good...
I can change it for a new picture, although it is going to be rather sad, because it is beautiful.

The remainder of the images are unique to Jiggly Jigsaw, however.

As for me asking for support being cheap... Well, I'm sorry if it offends you that I have financial needs. These games take me a very long time to make, so if people like them, getting some support would really help communicate to me that they want me to keep making games. Otherwise, no matter how much I like making games, there might come a time where I have to stop.

B) Please rephrase your "Piracy" message. You can't call anything piracy if you actively give it away by uploading it here yourself.
To explain, me giving it away here is me working with the pirate community. There are tons of websites that upload my games without my permission, and I am not exactly cool with it. Just googling them, I've found a lot of results on websites I don't even know of. At the very least, by posting on f95, I can interact with a big portion of the pirate community, and I have access to editing my own thread if I follow some guidelines.

However, just because I upload my games myself doesn't mean that I am cool with people taking my games and uploading them wherever they want. That is why I added that message. If it can be worded better, I am happy to do so. However I am unsure about how to do that.

Now, you're giving me ideas. You can only blame yourself if it happens.

How about a Qix-style game? That works well with the "reveal a picture" genre.
That doesn't ring a bell. Do you have exemples you could show me? It sounds interesting.

Basically, you control a blob that can safely run around the borders of a screen. If you move out into the middle of the playfield, you draw a line behind you; then join back up to a border, and you'll fill in the rectangle you outlined with the picture. The goal is to fill in enough of a percentage (say, 75%) of the screen. However, there are enemies moving around in the middle - if they touch you or any line you're currently drawing, you lose a life.

Here's an arcade example:

Ahhh, I know these types of games! Alright, I will see what I can do. Keep in mind that anything animated is passably more complicated because my drawing skills are still in their infancy. But I do need to pick up more complex mechanics sooner or later, so I will add this to the pool of potential ideas. Thank you!

Would like to report this issue, every time I complete a puzzle through Blind Random I get the error screen, also you cant just ignore it, you have to close the entire game. When you open the game again though it shows you completed the puzzle and saves your time.

I've reproduced the issue. Working on fixing the bug.

It was an issue with a function I reused to save myself time. I programmed it at first to show the puzzle data when you are in the puzzle selection menu. Obviously, since you don't see the stats for the blind selection, I hadn't included it in the logic. Apparently, after making sure that blind mode worked, I used this to display the stats and somehow, I didn't catch this during testing.

Anyway, here is a fixed version. Hopefully this should fix the bug (I've tested it locally, and the bug seems gone, at least).

On mac got an exception on launch.

Same error running under renpy launcher. I was able to launch the game By commenting out: #config.keymap['hide_windows'].remove('mouseup_2'). in the game/_init/init.rpy line 23. Havem't encountered any other bugs while playing game for several puzzles.

Game play frustration point:

Have the puzzle mostly complete, just have 8 practically all same color pieces to go.... It would be really good to have some sort of assist in those sorts of scenarios. I am used to other jigsaw puzzle games allowing lock on correct. Perhaps to keep that game closer to your intent, locking of corrent pices activates upon some significant stage of completion? ie 80%+ complete? Or some other mechanism such as slightly different outline colour on the incrroect ones?

Weird. I'm going to investigate that error. That should be disabling the button to hide the interface because it was incorrectly hiding everything instead of just the menus, since it hides all screens, and the puzzle itself is a screen too.

I can make lock on correct an option. It's the first jigsaw puzzle game I ever made so I wasn't sure if it was a feature that would be appreciated or not, given that it makes games significantly easier and allows brute forcing puzzles.

Hi. So I've taken the decision to put the completed tag on this.
This project was an experiment, and I'm satisfied with it as is. I know it doesn't have tons of content and lacks some feature, however there was almost no reaction to me publishing it, and I'm not really making any money, and the game as it is right now feels good, so I think I'm going to leave it as is.

I might update it down the line, however that will be for future me to decide. For the time being, I do not plan on working on this game anymore.

Thanks for everyone who has said kind word about it, and I hope you've enjoyed this project even as humble as it is.
