Thanks for this, you reminded me to point it out in the beginning of this thread that the person in question is their own character, not yourself. The reason for this is that I've limited what choices can be taken and will be taken in the future. If the character could be you for example, I would have made a lot more choices available. In the future, I would like to make a game that allows you to pick out your own name and along with that an abundance of choices to go along with it.

Is this still the case in the rework? If I can't play immersively, that is, identifying myself with the MC, then there is no way I can be interested in the game.

So, I do have bad news for everyone keeping their eyes on this game, but the game has been canceled/scrapped. I'll be reusing the girls for another project that doesn't follow a "Psychological Horror" trend.

As for what I'll be working on now, it's a Slice of Life/Romantic VN that'll be route based with new girls.

1: It still seems to be the case. Lots of phrases where the MC is talking about himself to himself for whatever reason. "I open my eyes", "I look away" etcetera. I really goes out of it's way to stress the fact the this character is the MC, not the player. It's also 100% kinetic. There isn't a single choice. You just watch what happens and go along with it. The game doesn't care if your a perv or whether or not you're interested in a character.

2: It's too short to really say for certain but it still looks like the "horror" is still there. In the very beginning there is a very LIL reminiscent scene of I guess a server trying to connect to the MC or scene? There is no lewd content so it's hard to say if the forced kinks are still there but as I said, no player agency here so if it does happen you will likely not have a say in it anyway.

So far so good.

It definitely stands out compared to the other Lessons in Love inspired games with the MC being an actual teacher with some sane priorities. He's no saint and he's quite happy to take naps but he also actually does his job and has an interest in being a teacher. He's a proper young adult and while he's stoic and sensible (compared to other MCs) he has also has a deadpan teasing sense of humor. He's not just a self-insert, he actually fits in with this world.

Izumi is easily the star of the cast. Design-wise she has a particular bodytype (willowy) that is rare to find on a main heroine but more importantly the creator has done decent work with having Keisuke and his niece properly share resemblance. More than just their hair colour they have a particular dynamic between them that nebulously mixes a genuine older-brother and a parental role, where they tease and frustrate one another but also feel worldessly comfortable with one another. The moment where Izumi teases Shirori really makes that commonality shine, as it cements just how similar Keisuke and Izumi are in their sense of humour- even if Izumi is far more energetic than her Uncle.

Didn't much care for the "Rift" business or Si-fi elements at first. They seemed jarringly intrusive and needlessly tropey to include in what was otherwise a normal setting. But there actually seems to be a point and plot planned around them if little Miss Mystical Succubus' attempted seduction and the imagery before Zellei's arrival mean anything.

Have to appreciate that Keisuke has a good head on his shoulders. Even if he does tease his students and took a quesitonable look towards Shiori's Shioris earlier he's not the sort to just jump into a relationship with his students. He's also too pracitcal and sensible to fall for a tacky seduction attempt. It's rare to see a MC not controlled by the little head and it's weirdly refreshing despite how it obviously contradicts the purpose of a porn game.

It's interesting to see all these plot threads set up and I'm looking forwards to seeing what ZelDev has planned for the game. I was surpised to see that there wasn't more comments after a recent update, but I suppose that the remake is still probably retreading old ground for older fans. Hopefully the next update won't be too many months away but quality is more important than quantity.

I also, read everything and if I have trouble pronouncing something I look them up but it takes the fun out of the games fast.

As far as I remember, the game clearly states that the player is not the MC, the player is a separate entity from the MC who watches what the MC does and sometimes guides the MC on his adventure. For me that makes it basically impossible to play immersive.

I have not played this game, so I don't have any comment on how good it is.
However I would suggest a better screen shot to advertise your game. A screen shot of a desk and some letters tells me nothing about the game. Am I going to play an accountant or maybe a teacher.... or do I just have a pen pall?

-It may just be my screen but there were times when the dialogue text went below the visible screen. Eg: when Shiori says "Yes, but I thought you were one of those odd, degenerate teachers with no intellect whatsoever who only happened to get this job by sheer luck and are only in it to be around high, and then I presume she says (school girls), but that's below the visible area.

-There are also some cut off words or oddly inserted letters in the same scene. Eg: "Well, I have been curious about how stories will be like with art to go along with c "

-With Izumi, some people will REALLY not like her having a boyfriend. This is not a complaint, but just asomething the developer should be prepared for.

I see it's listed 'part 1', so presumably 'part 2' will complete this part, but for now... it's okay for an update. There's not much NSFW, and it a bit of character building/plot developments. Which is fine for a LIL-like game, but for the amount of time between updates I'd expect a bit more content. Perhaps Part 2 will solve that though.

The dialogue text and odd inserted letters were something I may have missed while play-skimming through the update. I'll give another look over before I release the next update and make sure those are fixed.

As for the Izumi portion, I thought it would add a bit of spice in future events. IF people will dislike this, they'll probably dislike future events. I just wanna write the story how I want to write it.

As for the next update size, it's similar in size to part 1, but I'll be releasing it maybe in a week or so. I've been trying to get into the habit of releasing something monthly or even bi-monthly.

Also if you're looking for NSFW, I apologize, but this ones gonna be a slow burner. With more and more fan service slowly coming out.
