I updated to windows 11 and now it doesn't let me use the recoloring tool pls help :/
the cmd pops up for a split second, then closes and nothing happens.
As far as I'm aware it has to do with new JAVA runtime that has issues with the tool.
You'd need the version that was previously working for your tool. I had the same issue on my 2 devices where I had updated the JAVA, the other I didn't. Found out the updated version was causing issues unlike the other device I never bothered updating JAVA.

オヤジ狩り少女と超能力おじさん( The Girl Who Assaults Older Men and the Middle-aged Man with Special Powers)

This game was brought up in the thread a few years ago but is there any follow up? The game exists on some other old flash sites (translated even), and also for download on other sites. One of the best JSK games imo. The non-translated flash is easy to find, but I can't find translated downloads for the game even though it exists on sites (probably MTL if I had to guess). Imma try to Luna it, but it'd be nice to find a proper translated version of the game for download

I'll do you one better and even give you the recolor mods. the "Man Hunter Yua [Icevail (Translation) + Cyber Eclipse (Shapes and UI)..." is the original game + what it's titled.

The "[JSK Studio] 22..." file is bwebrwkerw's mod with cleaning up shapes and perspective shifts for variety and preference (Up/Down flipping for doggystyle, L/R flipping for certain scenes etc.)

Yua light and Yua dark are based off the non-bwebrwkerw modded versions. Here's everything:

Lemme know if you have any questions

Trying to get into translating, and JoSmiHnTh's Python CSV Editor is no longer available. Is there an updated link?

Also worth asking the translation thread, since there's a discord specifically for JSK game translation
let's not do this again. he's made it clear through constant whining and acting like a victim that you're not welcome on his discord unless you are working on the games or translating yourself.

Wait, what? Also, who's "he" I'm this context? Just going to clarify to the thread that this isn't me, I've never been on the translation discord and nor did I create it or anything. I only know of it's existence since I've been constantly on threads for 5 years give or take and it's come up in conversation before.

Didn't know the context so apologies if I've caused problems

Yeah man I did end up finding it in the thread files. I did check a couple times before and after I asked in this thread, don't know how I missed it.

Thanks for telling me anyways despite it literally being in the post already.

you're good man, basically the guy that made the discord threw a fit because people were asking for links and stuff our whatever to the point that he literally left the site, he also made it clear that it's for people who are working on translations only. and that you're "not worthy for the link and will be gatekept unless you super sleuth and find access yourself" that's why no one will give you the link.

Wow...that's...a bit discouraging. I'll find a work around. The whole CSV format i see is just something I am not a fan of and wanted something simpler. I saw the Python program and saw the UI was much more user friendly than the raw CSV data file.

If by "raw" you mean editing text in the file directly, you're not supposed to do that. The reason many translation tools gravitate towards CSV is that it can be edited in just about any spreadsheet program (Excel, Calc in the various StarOffice derivatives, etc) and the translation process lends itself to a tabular format. The more specialized programs I've seen really only offer mild benefit beyond that.
(Also, most of the common languages people write tools in have built in CSV parsers, so it makes things easy from the code side too.)

Oh wait, what? Are you sure? I might go dig up the link just to see then. Translation people are, off the top of my head, Icevail, Delexcius, Xinchi, among others. I can't imagine any of those people acting this way

EDIT: Ah. It's starting to come back to me now. I think you've messed up what was said by 2 different people. Contact Delexicus if you are looking to contribute to translation - new people who are willing to dedicate their time and effort to help out are always appreciated.

There was a different user who used to do APK conversion stuff - but because people were constantly harassing and begging him for APKs and troubleshooting misc., it really took a toll on his mental health and he eventually deleted his account and left the forums entirely (last I checked). At one point in time, said individual said something along the lines of "if you want links from me find me on discord" - though that was more like "stop harassing me for links" to my understanding, and more that they wanted to get away from people constantly harassing them for APK - where oftentimes, super easy problems to solve which didn't require much effort were being tossed their way and people were blaming/flaming them for now reason.

So, currently the translator discord (to my knowledge) is yes for translation, but has never been purposefully gate-kept other than for the reason of preventing people from clogging channels with "where is link" and the like. For sure reach out to Delexicus if you'd like help with translation tools and how to contribute to translation stuff.

Allow me to elaborate on that. Our Discord channel is specifically for those working on JSK games. Such as translators, modders, programmers, and artists. If the reason you are asking for a Discord invite is to ask for a game download link, please look elsewhere for your needs. If you want to chat with our members, you can do so here.
Elaborating - yeah I think the only reason you have to ask for a link is to keep the discord clean. I don't imagine they would say no unless you've historically caused problems or something.

I kinda figured it out that I shouldn't edit the CSV. I started using JPEXS and I have been making significant progress on translating Maki. Where should I post it for anyone who wants it? I am using the Omake mod as a base for it.
