    Needs more content

The game has solid foundations but it's just that. Solid foundations and vast potential that remains untapped.

Once you've played it, that's it.

No replayability potential and zero dialogue.

Graphics and animation are good but so far there are 4 sex scenes.

Each update focuses more on adding clothes and outfits when it desperately needs new scenes or 'enemies' or even features/mechanics.

I'd say give it a go if you really want to but I'll go with 'wait till there's more to it''.

    v2.3 Public

Bestiality, good looking models and FINALLY no more useless censorship, it's a bit sad it took so long!
The game is playable and the controls / fights are quite enjoyable, music is also good, the ragdoll effect in sex scenes is still way too obvious though, but it kind of works.
The customization shop could have been a fun way to cover the lack of new content, but paywall cancer strikes again and makes this version feel like the only big change was the censorship removal and some wolf dp.

I'll still continue keeping an eye on this game.

Alright this is the third time I've tried to review this and I'm way too fed up with having to re-type things just because I made the mistake of accidentally clicking outside the pop-up review window, thus deleting everything I typed. So I'll make this brief and probably won't be up to my usual standards.

I don't usually review games unless they are complete or abandoned, but I feel the need to balance out some of the excessive negativity this game has unfairly garnered. I'm also giving bonus points because the dev has been so patient, reasonable, and responsive to the community despite some downright overly-nasty and at times even pointless commentary from some members.

The gameplay is still pretty basic and could use a lot more variety, but has definitely massively improved since the early versions. The game itself could stand to be further optimized, but that's Unity for ya. The sexual content is, in my opinion, pretty dang good, even though it could stil use more diversity. Of course it's largely based around a specific kink- if you're not into bestiality, just go find another game to play instead. The aesthetics of the game are decent- the music is nice enough, the models are good IMO... basically the main thing the game needs more of overall is just diversity of content.

It does suck that there are some seemingly silly things stuck behind the paywall (for now), but it's hardly a huge deal and will hopefully change at some point in the future. (Pretty sure it's only temporary anyway) Overall, I think this game shows a fair bit of promise, even if it's a little barren right now.

Current edition as of this semi-"review": 2.3

It's been, like a month since the last review, so I just wanted to let you all know that the game is still quite bad. The controls are still clunky, the hitboxes still scuffed, the attacking animations not only look off as the miss the enemy and still hit them somehow but they are also inconsistent as I try to hit a wolf behind me but my character does a quick 180 and targets the pig infront of me for no knowable reason and don't get me started on the enemy attack patterns, the amount of times i get stunlocked when the moment i get up i go right back down is ludicrous. Lastly the animations are still a solid meh out of meh resulting in the single star given.

You really got to ask yourself who this game is made for? The people who are really in to beastiality are no doubt disappointed by the lazy animations and the clunky way to get to them in game.

The people who like platforming/running games are even more disappointed because as a GAME, the gameplay is truly atrocious with seemingly random hitboxes, janky unpredictable physics and an utterly boring combat system.

Truly a game that no one loves, which is what happens when you stretch your concept too thin and try to appeal to too many audiences at once. The only saving grave WOULD have been the heroine and her good-looking model but that is instantly soured by any ability to costumize her being locked behind a truly heinous grind-wall.

I have never ever seen one of these "run, fight or get raped" platformers be good, they are universally trash so I don't understand why people keep emulating them. The idea of only giving the player lewd content when they do poorly in the game is so completely backwards.

    EDIT:

As of 2.3, most of the issues I had with this game have been resolved.

Firstly, no controller support. It really is a shame, since this is builtin in Unity. It makes the game almost unplayable.

Secondly, WTF with the censorship ??? Is it to try to get into Japan market ? I doubt it would be possible anyways because of the sheer amount of censored porn game produced there.

Thirdly, animations are not that good. They lack variety.

The main trouble now is the lack of feedback when an enemy takes a hit. There should be a tiny animation, a sprite overlay or whatever indicating damages.

    Overall, a promising game!

Jungle Penetration is a very simple game with poor execution that manages to fall into every amateur action game pitfall and then some.
Unclear hitboxes, bad attack telegraphs, no/way too subtle damage effects, enemy attack intervals that can be both unfairly short and puzzlingly long, and what feels like a lockon system with no clear indicator all make it hard to figure out what the hell is actually happening in the game. Then the slow, clunky controls top it off to form an experience that's basically just a chore. Theoretically the gameplay could be vastly improved with a bit of tuning and extra visual effects, but what I see here isn't giving me much faith that it will happen.
Though the gameplay is awful it gets more than the lowest rating for a generally good technical implementation and looking nice.

Because the developer finally came to his senses and removed the ridiculous censorship. The fighting has also been improved. It's more responsive now. It's a pity though that the public build only contains two levels. Therefore, it gets boring quite fast.

A good game inspired by Unforbidden, with way better graphics and a developer that's willing to work and put lots of effort for his game.

For this early state, I'm surprised it's that good. In just one update, dev added optimization witch will allow players with low end pc's enjoy his work. As for content, there will be more for sure, and I'm really looking forward for the final release.

    Enjoy.

LIke the games theme. Graphics are pretty good. But the best part has been creator feedback. Game is getting better with each update. Because he is listening to creative ideas. Look forward to future updates.

good start to a possibly good game kinda jumpy and combat is a little lagged but overal decent to most other games out there. Would recommend trying out being open minded about changes will help grow this game

This might be a biased review because I'm a huge sucker for bestiality, but this game, while clunky and buggy, has a lot of potential. The developer actually listens to people on f95 and improves upon existing mistakes.

    Pros:

    - Bestiality (which might be a con for some people)
    - Hot protag
    - Hot sex positions
    - Interactive camera (Rotateable, zoomable)
    - Various beast enemies (Wolf, Boar and Bear currently)
    - Twerk mechanic (I didn't know I need this in my life)
    - Runs smoothly on older hardware

    Cons:

    - Clunky fighting and gameplay in general
    - Buggy physics
    - No incentive to play (No goal except reaching the end of the level)
    - Repetitive fighting
    - Censorship for no reason

That's pretty much it, hopefully the dev will improve upon this.

    NotGoodWithNames

Horrible fighting and game mechanics make this game unplayable. Animals easily break combos and when you defeat an enemy it re-spawns by the time you get to the next enemy and attacks you. So now you're in a nearly impossible fight with two enemies due to the horrible battle mechanics. If you are able to defeat both of them good luck beating the level because the apples that can give health back give you so little health it's barely noticeable. Along with all that add in horrible rag doll physics, buggy controls and various other annoying design flaws such as defeated enemies blocking your path unless you jump over them and you have a game that is a compete waste of time.

Edit: Now that the censorship has been removed (I'm very much against censorship, so I refused to take another look at the game until it was removed), I feel inclined to re-review it. A lot of the problems with the game have been corrected or at least lessened to an extent. The game play is stil a bit lacking in large part due to the game physics, though the graphics have been greatly improved and the game runs a lot smoother now. I wish the rag doll physics were reworked though, for example submitting to an enemy or twerking can lead to body parts in places they should be able to be. It also leads to really odd mounting animations wher the animal has all 4 leggs off the ground while thrusting.

Over all it's a large improvement over where it was, but still has a long way to go. It's heading in the right direction though.

Insane difficulty, paywalled levels and censoring, bad mechanics, and worst of all not even a good payoff for putting yourself through that bullshit. This might actually be my fastest delete of ANY game I have played on this site. Even if you like beast, which I really fucking do, its just not worth it at all.

Edit : As of V2.3 Censorship was removed, and combat has been significantly improved (Still not fun though). Issues still include lots of paywalled content and features such as the gallery, and literally all the accessories. Its less shitty as you can actually enjoy the game now, but still pretty unacceptable.

    >Makes combat wholly unfun, with sub par controls
    >Lock the gallery, what everyone is interested in behind a paywall
    >Profit????

Seriously this game reeks of paywalled content more then almost any game on this site, skip it, and don't support it. Rating adjusted, would be a 2.5 if allowed.

This game could easily turn itself around by just following the normal routine of the Parteon build just being a month ahead, but the creator is doing everything in his power to make you hate the game. It really is a tragedy.

Edit 2.4 With the game abandoned and the pateron build leaked this game is actually pretty good. Its still not fun to play, but with the gallery unlocked its a must pickup for beast fans

    Scholomance

So this project is abandoned but the work that went into and the content that did exist before it died had incredible potential. Very life-like realistic encounters with the wild beasts, incredible visuals, decent or at least appropriate sounds and cheat options so one doesn't have to deal with frustration from gameplay.

With that said, there was a solid strategy to deal with most encounters using the RMB (stun) + LMBx2 then rinse and repeat technique while attacking from maximum distance. Without this the game would seem incredibly difficult - so the mechanics were never its shining point. It was all about the other... features and aesthetics.

They should've just made the animations and left the "game" part out of this because this is not a game.
The fights are just stupidly hard and near impossible, if it weren't for the cheat codes I've just removed this "game" from my computer after a few minutes.
