Outstanding game.

The models are good and not overused in other games, they always match perfectly with the scene, so much that the dialogue between characters often happens in the video.

The most impressive thing about the game is it's structure, it's a rogue like, and the achievements system makes every run easier than the previous one, it is however perfectly paced.

What this structure creates is an easing of the feeling of grind, because it actually gives sense to the presence of grind in the game.

The game that lead me to this site in the first place.

While I'm personally less of a fan of the rogue-like aspect of the game. (In the sense of losing a chunk of your progress and essentially replaying certain parts of the game again and again). It basically scrachted all the needs I had or didn't know I had for a porn game.

In particular the game part of that label is executed here better than anywhere on this platform. It is an actual somewhat decent rpg sandbox sim where grinding doesn't feel too bad, and you get rewarded with new scenes often enough to never bore you. The first time I played this game it was version 0.33 so all of the newly added girls and paths have only further enriched what had already felt enough for my taste (there might even be a danger of content bloat in the long run!).

The scenes are well made and should probably be the gold standard of most real-porn games. Instead of "interactivity" it's a written scene where you have to scroll down, basically minimizing the amount of clicking you have to do. The scenes change depending on your sex stats further enriching the replay possibilities.

In the end all of my negatives are entirely my own taste. While the dev chose these girls I don't find the majority of them particularly attractive and while I don't like the roguelike aspect many others do.
What I really don't like is the usage of AI here which mostly comes down to many of the girls not having the appropriate pictures or scenes for everyday life. While this is an okayish band-aid often times the AI version looks nothing the original. This is particularly confusing in the tutorial. Furthermore scenes take weirdly assymetric chunks of your current time sometimes leading to me spam clicking the "wait 5 minutes" button simply because it's suboptimal to wait for an hour.

Easy 5/5.

Don't let the changelogs trick you into thinking there's not much content continously being added, the updates contains more than one can divulge from them. One will always want more, but even two small updates added decent enough replayability to an already great game.

The actual porn is more or less perfection.

The sandbox is great, though (much) farther down the line it'd be nice to have even more variables through general allignment. Already kind of there with Love/Corruption, but would love to see that fleshed out even more further down the line.

Just a very great game, can't find anything to complain about for what it is.

The game mechanic and story uses a time loop concept. You move around the sandbox and build your stats and reputation and try to discover scenes like any sandbox, but have a finite number of days before the loop resets and you have to "start over". When restarting, you get to purchase persistent upgrades using XP from achievements unlocked during the run. These make your next run faster/easier and access content that was out of reach initially. The game is really well paced in my opinion, and I felt like I was seeing scenes at a good pace the whole way through, and each loop especially early on allowed me to explore in a slightly different direction to keep things fresh. It's a bit slow at the start - as it totally should be for a story where you're a fat virgin. By the end though, you'll be swimming in scenes and can pretty much do everything/everyone in a single run (with a few exceptions where certain choices are mutually exclusive).

The game UI has a nice achievement list you can refer to as you start to narrow in on things in later loops. I personally didn't bother doing all of them, as additional loops got a bit tedious once I'd seen 99% of the content already. There's a literal ton of hot content, and it's fairly well written to boot. What's not to like? Would have liked to have seen more group and orgy content. Maybe in later updates? Game obviously uses real porn though, so certain scenes may simply not exist (without using a different porn girl). I also appreciated the lack of location bloat, somewhat endemic to the genre (dev puts them in & never does anything with them). The game only has 5-6 locations, so you don't need a million clicks to get anywhere. It's usually one click and you're there.

So once more in closing: A must play for any sandbox fan.

Easily one of the best real porn html games on this site. Large amount of content and nice selection of actors. The game is quite addicting, I sunk a lot of hours into it. If you enjoy a (reasonable imo) grind, you will really like this one.

Great game, ive put quite a few hours into it. Its nice they added a difficulty, because the grind before was a little harsh. But its much better now. One of the best html games ive played thus far. Still have stuff to unlock and see.

great game. The Groundhog day aspect of the game is well done, interesting to see how a playthrough evolves from not even getting to second base with a girl to basically going all the way on the third meeting because your starting stats went nuts. I like that I can decide what I want to increase for the next playthrough.

Good content, well put dialogues and raunchy scenes, not much cringe. Seeing all Content would take a lot of time, I played it for several hours and got like 90-95%, you can see via the achievements what you're missing. Obviously at some point you know what happens so its no surprise anymore, but since scenes change a bit depending on how good the stats are it stays interesting.

4.5/5 - I'll round up because of the good execution and novel concept.

Very worth playing throught a"few" times for various options and bonuses . Hoping for a full evil route someday? given the high/monthly frequency of updates it may well happen. (a bit of blackmail and compensated "dating" is available already.)
Writing is good and follow the scenes which are of acceptable length (not the 5s bull).

I tend to be partial to indie porn games that emphasize gameplay, so potential players of Just One More Chance who want every game to be a ren'py visual novel should take my review with a grain of salt.

Just One More Chance is one of the most ambitiously new takes on life sim porn games that I've seen in quite some time. It combines the following genres: Groundhog Day, immersive life sim, roguelike, stat builder, dating sim; and does so in a way that I actually find very fun. The backstory is pretty simple: the main character is a severely overweight loser whose life has gone downhill, who got selected by a shady sci-fi company to relive a simulation of his first couple weeks of college with the ability to make different choices in that simulation. The result is a roguelike stat-building dating sim, where each time you finish a loop you take some prestige currency (experience), achievement bonuses, and a portion of your stats from the previous loop, and run through it again trying to see more stuff and 'get further' in various ways.

While this style gameplay had the potential to get boring quickly, seeing the same things over and over again; the dev has worked hard to make the sex scenes well-written, diverse, and give the player a lot of romantic options to explore. Since achievements give gameplay bonuses, there's also an in-game incentive to see the range of sex scenes rather than just grinding out experience through just having lots of sex and making money (which you can also do, if you prefer). One especially smart move on the developer's part is the virginity system, which is basically just granting a unique achievement when the main character loses his virginity in a particular loop to a girl he hasn't lost his virginity to in previous loops. You can only get one virginity achievement per loop, and while there are some 'easy' girls, it's often a challenge to find a way to make sure you only have sex with a particular harder girl first, resulting in some more variation on gameplay strategies depending on who you want the main character to bone first than if your goal was just to have as much sex and make as much money as possible per loop. There are lots of different girls to screw, with different body types and fetishes and preferences, so there's a lot of variety to what sex you'll see in the game.

That being said, the game isn't perfect. While grinding is very slow and ineffective in the beginning, once you get your money-making rolling via freelancing it becomes very easy to get massive amounts of experience per run. This is somewhat offset by achievements granting unique bonuses, but it still trivializes the major prestige currency of the game once you figure out how to maximize your coding and intelligence at the start. Diminishing returns might be a smart change here. The UI is rather simple, the stats are a little opaque (stress, for example, seems to do a bunch of things but not always consistently), and with a few exceptions I tend to find the girls' relationships with the main character more or less play out the same way once he builds up his stats. It also wasn't my favorite thing when Natasha's backstory was changed, but Patreon be Patreon after all. Being able to change up some relationships or have characters more related to the main character's backstory might be nice. It also might be interesting if the 'outside the Animus' scenes between runs had some things to unlock too.

Still, Just Once More Chance is fun, it's sexy, the dev is clearly putting a lot of effort into improving this game with frequent and regular updates, and I highly recommend anyone who finds this type of game potentially interesting to give it a look. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could, but I think given its uniqueness, it makes sense to round the score up to five rather than down to four.

TLDR As others have said, the core gameplay loop is novel and engaging, but there's not quite enough sexual content to hold the player for more than a few hours. Give it a shot, but as of v0.45, don't get infatuated with any of the characters because there isn't much to see.

Minor spoilers. The moment the game really clicked for me was when I got to a point where I was getting it on with a girl and had the choice to ignore her earlier request to not stick it in. She was enthusiastic during sex, but was very upset afterwards. In a normal VN, this is about the point where I'd sigh and reload, but due to the looping mechanic present here, it... doesn't really matter. She can be pissed all she wants; in two days the whole world resets, but I keep a permanent bonus for sleeping with her for the first time.

I think that this is the place that this game could really benefit from expanding. There are already "routes" for blackmail or love vs. corruption plotlines, but really diving into these and giving more opportunities to purposefully bomb relationships etc. for the sake of alternate scenes and achievements fits very well with the core gameplay. It's a neat way to get around the problem some games have with locking sex content behind "bad ends" or otherwise counterintuitive player behavior that the actual gameplay disincentivizes.

Besides that though, just having more sexual content and "story" for characters would go a long ways to solidifying the game as a community classic.

I enjoyed what another reviewer called the "snowball" meta-mechanics of JOMC than any of the actual content. Each game loop is fairly short (at least to start with), a week with just a couple of events possible each day. However, once you start getting achievements, you can advance more quickly in the loop: get farther with some quest-lines, unlock some new ones, and milk quest-lines you've previously completed for resources. A few loops in, the experience peaks and you, the player, get max-amusement out of dancing your way through a couple of weeks seducing almost everyone you see. Then the metagame enters a plateau of seemingly endless grind if you want to get the last few achievements/events.

The characters written are reasonably distinctly: the mean girl, the brain, the fangirl, the jock, the working girl, etc. However, most of the models don't really have a "fresh-faced college gal" look, and some of them are just flatly off-putting. None of the in-game mechanics are much deeper than a stat check against your snowballed math-skill to see if you can tutor and therefore get a lewd scene from someone.

I think that the author created something innovative and interesting here. But it could definitely be better implemented with a more engaging core game loop, framing story, and model/scene choices, and a better balanced end-metagame.

Great story with a gameplay loop that feels progressive instead of repetitive. And the consistent updates are wonderful! There doesn't seem to be too many different choice, which bodes well for the development complexity. I hope to see more from this developer as he continues to grow and develop.

As a fan of real porn games, I can totally recommend this game. The models are chosen well and the scenes are good.

Story is simple enough, but well written and the girls are somewhat stereotype, but I guess making it more realistic would cut off the sex scenes for many hours. The loop concept is a good solution to give you some sense of progress and this will keep you playing for a while.

Since it is a text based game, developing your character necessarily includes some grind, but imo it's not too bad and can be quickly reduced. If you want to complain about that, you can also complain about walking to school or doing sports is unnecessary grind and demand a better concept reaching your goals from [god, buddha, matrix coders or whatever you deem appropriate].

I hope the devs keep up their good work and give the later loops some more variety and develop the characters a bit more.

Cascading poor design choices.
-Why is the grind so unbelievable slow?
-Why are the characters written as total-one-note bitches?
-Why is clicking on two locations a day to raise my stats 0.2 points considered fun or engaging?

Super compelling and easy to get lost in - even including the grind. This feels like a great groundhog life-style game, and the progression is satisfying. Interesting paths with the different women in the game. Looking forward to more as it develops, but it's already enough game to be worth your time.

Found this game by filtering by HTML tag. I mean I like HTML games because the're generally simple games and I think there is some charisma to it that you don't find anywhere else.

I mean, I didn't have to play that much before noticing how this game, like a bunch I tested, is way too simple. Thing is when I play a game (HTML or anything else) I normally like to actually play a game and not just look at twine-like 0 desing interface with only some texts and pictures for like a bunch of hours. I think the plot is good and that this game could've been way more impressive with a little effort making it original and more fun to play. (backgrounds? More games in the game?) IDK not my job to find the ideas but you get the point here.

I want to specify that I didn't play all the available version through so yes my review is not based on a complete gameplay. Also I specify that a lot of HTML games that are great are also boring in that category, I just happen to rate this one.

Very fun and sexy game that is well worth looking into. Super cute girls (and older women too) that take time and effort to win over. Plus each run thru unlocks more and more fun!! The school settings are always some of my favorites, and this one ticks that box perfectly. The developer has frequent updates and I have never noticed any major bugs.

I'm making a whole new review, because after finding out how much the developer cares about their game, I may have been harsh with my rating and it put some things in perspective for me.

The positives that I've found are that there's a lot of consistency with the models, and the gameplay is very creatively made. Each character also has their own unique personality which is a big plus. As well as that there are no bugs that I found, everything works as it should without issues. The dev has clearly done a good job at keeping things polished and not rushing content out before it's ready, which I like a lot.

My main issue with the game previously is that I found the grind very long-winded, but the dev offers a free way of getting around that with cheats, so that's not much of a negative anymore.
I guess one other minor thing, is that I wish the game had background music!

Overall the game is fun and worth the time that it takes to play.

i'll keep this simple. Out of the hundreds of p. games this is easily on top 5 of the ones i have played. why ? bc is unique, fun to play and entertainment. This game will get you hooked up until you finish its current content, truly one of a kind.

Gameplay:

So, the main mechanism here is about various stats that you can raise through training. One effect is to make you more attractive to girls (each from different stats), and so unlock actions you can do with them. Another effect is to unlock full scenes (sex experience). And you get also more action points.
The second mechanism is that you start over the game with better stats, which let you go further and acquire buffs. The achievement system act as a guide of what you can do, and a reward to increase stats.

Story:
A college settings where you will start as a fat loser to end up as the alpha male. The first run is interesting and hook you up on the next run to unlock more things. There are a few ideas, but there are not so much various paths possible. Another run consist of making the same things first, and then catch more girls. The writing is not bad, but it's not incredible.

Graphics/Animation:
Real porn images and videos. And the selection is good, and coherent (same actress for each character). Also, the author edited the videos to cut some faces (sometimes a scene with another actress). It's not HD.

Sound/Music
No music, and sound from the video clips. Nothing special.

Overall impression:
I'm used to have poor html games. This one was different. Of course, you have to raise stats (grind), but you kinda have to plan a strategy, and you quickly end up with results. It doesn't feel like a fake difficulty.
Yet, while the first two runs have a progress and challenges, you may have so high stats on the third that you can do most of the scenes.
So, 4 stars, because it's surprisingly good for an html game.
