I don't get why creators hide everything.
I understand putting the product behind a paywall.
I understand not giving all the details publicly.
But how are people supposed to evaluate whether or not they'd like to support a dev if they can't see anything about their progress?
I mean its free to view, but you have to make an account and follow the creator... anyways here the post's content:

Hey there, sorry for the wait!
The first update for KZO is finally ready and it's quite a substantial one.
Hogties,
Headscissors,
Feet smother,
Restraint escape system and animations,
Fixed grab dialogue,
Level system,
Exp draining,
Restraint + Level based advantage / disadvantage... and quite a bit more.
I strongly suggest you read the changelog (you'll find it in the game's files and on Discord).
This should've been out earlier with just the hogties / holds / restraint escape and fixed written grab dialogue, but I started adding more stuff while waiting for Cinder's voice acting. The idea for a level system and all the other stuff that came after quickly spiraled out of control. Turns out leveling systems and balancing are complicated, who could've guessed.
KZO is officially way bigger than any Unity project I've ever delved into before. I'm trying my best not to commit any cardinal sins organization / optimization wise, and still I'm actually surprised at how well it runs (except for the forest map, we don't talk about the forest map).
Now for the credits... lots of people helped bring this update to fruition!
Huge thank you to
Cinder Dryad for the voice acting, she really pushed herself to get it ready as soon as possible.
Big thank you to
Kadokawi who drew the cute animated spinner (<- apparently that's what they're called) chibi art of Belle restraining Burnice for the loading screens.
The written grab dialogue for all the restraint / subdue starts / idles / ends / successes and failures was written by
StoryEdge. With additional Burnice-only writing by
Zeri which sadly came in slightly too late for it to be featured in this update (keep an eye out for it on the next one though).
Thank you to everyone who sent in their writing samples when we made the announcement, I read every single one of them personally and there wasn't a single one I didn't enjoy, appreciate you.
This was also the first time I've had an update significantly playtested by community volunteers. They were
Viper3400,
Vei and
FrewTea. I can't stress out enough how useful it was to have someone else other than me looking out for bugs and unintended behavior, thank you.
And last but certainly not least, the talented artist behind KZO's animation style and choreography,
Minko. Please go check them out if you can!
Having said that, I'd also really like to thank every single one of you out there on the Discord and over here on the Patreon for the patience and support. Your sustained backing is the main reason behind projects being able to grow bigger and more intricate with each new release and content update, I couldn't do this without you. The community's reaction to KZO has been absolutely astonishing. Sincerely, thank you.
I'm also thankful for all the concepts / ideas being floated in the 'game-ideas-brainstorming' channel. I can't bring them all to the game but I do pay attention and view them as a source of both inspiration and motivation. Seeing any in-game videos / screenshots of you guys having fun with the game also makes my day every time.
And well, that's it. I hope you'll enjoy the update!
You'll find the download links in the usual 'dedicated-follower-downloads' channel in the Discord.
KZO V0.2 is exclusive to the dedicated follower tier, the download link can be found in the "dedicated-follower-downloads" channel of the Discord which will become accessible once you've joined the tier and correctly done that Patreon -> Discord integration.

Apologies once more for the wait, expect to hear again from me much sooner. We'll probably have a community vote to decide a new character addition to KZO's roster soon.
But, for now...
Don't let thebite~
