Here is a link to a draft Deepseek V3 translation along with a quick main config menu heading translation. It's done (breaks) with Ebrima font in mind.

It's an older game so I assume that's why their text window is smaller and that's why even Segoe UI doesn't cut it - there is only 50-60 chars fit there so there could be some 4 liner dialogues, and that last 4th line just wouldn't fit the screen. Ebrima looks nice and small and has to be available in Win already as I don't remember installing it. You'll have mostly 3 lines with correctly - in absolute majority of cases - working line breaks.

It's not to be published on F95 or anywhere, as there is plenty of work to be done - pics, some systemic stuff related to the translation of sounds in the scenes (onomatopoeia vs not), Masataka being called Nodoka's 'husband' during swapping/scenes which might be confusing cause her real husband is MC - Hiroto, or them calling each other Mr. Iseya/Ms. Yoshioka/missus in the later stages of the game, which is strange though it is like that in the original script. Also I assume there is not everything correct with the nouns by the end as the unpacked script has all duplicates deleted - and so in cases where you play Nodoka POV by the end where Hiroto speaks something, it's not in the script (his original line is back there in his POV) so it wasn't fed to Deepseek and the translation might be subpar in this regard. Once you pack it back it gets restored, and game uses it properly, so you might see some inconsistency there once you play it. And so on. There is a bit of swearing too (fucking/cunt) provided by Mr. Deepseek himself AFAIR. I haven't played it yet myself, assume will do it and work further as I go when I'm in the mood.

I'll likely finish or improve translation in the mentioned regards over a month or two, so hold off playing it if you want to. Though it blows out of the water any existing translation (Deepl/Sugoi) just the the way it currently is.

Now's the time to get back to Cyrodiil, though )).

I've just updated the patch with subbed opening video (after the first dinner, some 10 minutes in game) and UI pics.

The bad news is that there is that smaller file kabe_define.dat that contains descriptions for memory section, where you can see 84 scenes total, once you open them - and it wouldn't pack properly using either of the two known utils for ANIM games (fucker and this py script). So I'm looking to help with that. I'll ask in a few places I have in mind, but if nothing comes, I'll have to leave it untranslated or at best create separate pdf file or something with the scenes' descriptions translation.

To be precise, just in case - fucker is just crashing (window that needs to stay open while you edit the file(s) and then press button to pack it all back), and the other one based on py script returns empty json and txt files in 'intermediate_file' folder so there is nothing to translate and it does nothing upon packing it back (just gets me original script in the 'output' folder).

Don't know if it helps but in the Dazed translation of one of the anim games the scene descriptions are translated. Could ask him if you're still struggling.

I updated the patch on (translated MC POV, flowchart pic). I went over it one time in a spreadsheet, then made quite a lot of corrections when I played through the game - mostly misplaced breaks. I haven't played it again, so if you play it and see something - a misplaced line break to be precise, it's not likely to have typos as its 95-99% Deepseek anyways - write here as I keep working on Nodoka's POV. I'll take a few days off from this I guess, but I still hope to finish in June.

I wrote about the tools not working on 'define' file:
- to Dazedanon and in his discord lobby
- to Capu
- in tools' thread here on F95
- at Eroge Translation Corner and Translator's Hub discord servers
- at Fuwanovel

We'll see if anything comes up. If not, I'll try to at least create a separate pdf file with the translation. BTW it's the same with their first 2011 game - script is OK, 'define' file is not. Something is there in their older games. Kabe 2 and Tsuma no Biniku are already fine, tools work with both scenario and memories' files alright. So likely that Dazed and Capu have never encountered such a problem.

Okay. There wasn't a lot of interest in the game/translation with only one meaningful message in August, so I was mostly lazing around, but it's done or almost done.

Here is a to a compressed version. I'm saying it's almost done cause I'm pretty much finished with it, but I just wanted someone to playtest it before uploading here officially, so to speak, and a couple of guys are helping me with that.

So you guys - the ones who are interested in the game - can actually play it too and point to issues that you might encounter. I'm mostly interested in not having misplaced line breaks there, that flowcharts are correct, and that compressed version doesn't crash (that's why I've uploaded it but if you inclined to do so just get the original full version and take my script/other files).

As for the compressed version, I've become aware that there might be some strange occasional crashes - they probably are limited to instances when you're skipping text with CTRL, the game crashes with no error message, and once you launch the game again, you can move past the place where it crashed alright - not that you'd have to get yourself original Jap script to move past the crashing place. So it's likely that it's not a script issue but something that has to do with compression, and I won't be able to solve that, but I'd like to know if the issue persists when you play normally, not skipping text, or you can cover the compressed version at normal speed with no crashes.

There is a pdf file with my notes, pay attention to it. Don't forget to change font to Ebrima and if you'll be playing for the first time - be advised that the opening video (around after the first dinner) that I subbed contains quite heavy spoilers IMO (skip with CTRL).

Write here if you notice anything like typos or misplaced breaks, missing honorifics, messed pronouns, crashes, mistakes in flowcharts etc. Overall I don't really expect much of that, maybe just a few instances of misplaced breaks.
