I think the worse I've done is beat a game with a supposed soft lock.
I'm really curious how you've managed to cause that. Enlighten me, I wanna make sure Kaedama is as unbreakable as possible.

Like that's the order it took it in that situation.
Yeah, the code does really go through an order and looks for the keywords that I deem more important for their responses.

Like when Mana is placed infront of me right at the start and I can't ask her about her heterochromia when I have that weird obsession with heterochromia. Yes I am strange.
Hmmm, the heterochromia question should be working. The system should recognize the word. Unless you meant that she didn't understand what it is, because if so, saying the same thing again will cause a different response.

Oh the soft lock was for a different game a long time ago. I was mostly commenting that I have a unique relationship with code. This game for the most part seems rather sturdy. I've only broken it once and I've told you about it already.

I've also figured out my issue with heterochromia and posted it in the dm I sent.

Lovely game. Cute girls and nice background music enhancing atmosphere.

Typing on what to converse seemed bit weird at first. You seemed to have thought responses well, for example Akane blushed nicely when I told I'd drive trolley over my mom but not over her.

I hope we can continue sex education classes next time ;).

Nori especially was lovely. She's gonna be my number one girl. Can't help it, blondes always win.

Ending came quite suddenly, mid-scene. I would have wished to finish day fully.

Warms my heart to hear that. Really glad you enjoyed it so far.

Definitely, these poor girls really need some help in that department. Hopefully you can teach them in a professional manner.

I can understand that. Next update will come out in a few weeks and will finish the first day completely
Also, if you have any feedback in terms of inputs that you would've liked, please share. I'm always looking to add more.

Have to say the response system is a miss for me, stopping to type something is more annoying than interesting. Respect the attempt at innovation but VNs have select a response for a reason, no reason to try and reinvent the wheel.

For me as well. It's bad enough that it already pretty significantly lengthens the time it takes to get through the content but it's also not very "smart". If it is going to be so focused on open ended responses the dev really needs to add way more key words or something. You can't pick an appropriate response for the scene and you are taking a shot in the dark if the quasi AI will even know what you are trying to say.

Which answers did you try that didn't end up working? Because I love to add as many working ones as possible. And the game does not really use an AI to figure out responses. it's a pretty basic, hard-coded system that basically looks for synonyms.

Thank you for trying Kaedama out though.

Well when considering the planned tags, please provide us players a choice to avoid those tags which we find distasteful. So far game looks very nice. Thanks for the share. Also thanks for your consideration on providing us choices.

Interesting note, when Kumi asks if she can stay over, I told her to "Make herself at home." and she responded with okay, I'll go home, sorry for bothering you.

See, that right there. It ignored everything but home in a very common response. I think it works fine if you type "yes" or "no" for most of them but then there would be no point to letting the player try and express themselves.

Not to worry, you can avoid any tag you aren't interested in. And thank you for trying it out.

Great point, I'll add that one in.

There are always things I might miss. I'm a solo developer that only speaks English as his second language, so common expressions/slang are definitely my weaker point, because I simply don't use or hear them that often.
Almost every question has an option to say yes/no, but they also have tons of other things you can try to respond with. If you let me know which ones didn't work for you, I will try my best to add them all in, because I do add in whatever responses people suggest.

Sorry to hear that you don't like Kaedama, hope you'll give it another chance after I've added more recognized expressions.

Another example, in the beginning when the girl drops in I asked her if she was sure about this and she assumed I was asking her if she was alright. "Yeah, I'm okay..." "I mean.. I'm really worried about mum.". I would make more sense if she said something like "I am sure. And sorry this is so sudden".

Thank you for pointing this one out. Looking into the code right now and it seems this was a bug.
I am curious about your input, because I feel like "Are you sure?" can be interpreted many different ways. Going by face value, are you using it as a "Are you sure about staying over?"

I think that manual input with keywords is a major flaw in the game that needs to be replaced with something more user friendly. I suggest adding a list of available keywords. :(

I was using it that way. I said "Are you sure about this?" Unrelated to the responses, but I am also noising a huge separation between the MC/player and the girls so far. They talk "at" you it seems. Until the player is expected to type something in they are pretty much just some disembodied thing.

KaeruVN, it doesn't seem to handle questions very well. In the park when you are asked if you want to go for a run I said "How about it, Kumi?" and the response was "Oh, you are hanging out with Kumi?". Just saying, if there was a list of choices these misinterpretations wouldn't happen.

"Sure, why not?"
"I don't like running"
"What do you think, Kumi?"
