RPGM - Completed - Kamishiro Itsuki's Election [v1.03] [sunantenna]

So, I've played Kamishiro Itsuki's Election by sunantenna and it is time for a review.

I will divide this review into 3 sections:
Story
Gameplay
Porn

Story
The story revolves around the MC Kamishiro, a decent looking girl who despite not even being out of college is running for the mayors office. The story is fairly straight forward - Kamishiro wants to be elected and she is up against a ruthless opponent who doesn't shy away from cruel methods.

I think the story hooks where the evil guy throws obstacles at Kamishiro is some of the more interesting parts - like running from a gang etc. I also liked the mission where Kamishiro stops the beating of a couple of students as you have control over how much clothing she takes off. These type of missions/quests adds agency and options for the player to use. It would've been great with more of those.

The story is not particularly advanced and it is also fairly predictable. That is usually not a good thing, but in this case it is. Many devs attempt to create deep story with several plot hooks and different characters. I often ends up as a disjointed mess with huge plot holes, an MC made stupid/naive. Often it also ends up in character breaks.
Not here, Kamishiro stays true to her character all the way through as a strong, cunning helpful person who has to compromise with some of her ethics to be elected. That is a fairly rare quality in these types of games.

Game play
In order to be elected she must help the citizens with various tasks. This includes tidying up a park, sorting a warehouse and finding a missing cat. At times, the activity require Kamishiro to expose herself - for instance when she wants to stop a bully in a neighborhood who in turn demands to see her breasts. Or when she distracts the Yakuuza so that two students can get away.

Any activity can only be done once with some puzzles having 3 different iterations of difficulty. This also means that you don't have to grind anything for too many times. I also liked that this game didn't go overboard with everything having to be lewd. Though, I think it would be cool with branching quest lines, where using lewd methods would've been a fun addition to the game.

The only real gripe I have with the gameplay is that it is a bit tedious to figure out where the content is - especially if it is indoors. Thus I spent bit too much time just trying to find the activities. As a heads-up there is a "soothsaying tent" where the amount of remaining content in any area is revealed. It would've been nice with clear pointers on where to find content.

The game do have choices in its own way. They're usually choices in the way that you can decide not to do some of the quests. The game will also tell you if the quest is lewd in nature by the character having a heart over their head. You can complete the whole game without having to deal too much with the more dangerous, molesting types, if that is what you want.

Porn
The porn in this game is... well, it is there. I don't think it is particular spicy or interesting. The CG's looks a lot like one another, so there's that. The setting surrounding the CG's do make them a bit more enticing, but I mean, I wouldn't play this game solely for the porn content. Not even the bad endings are overly interesting in this regard.


Overall
The Good

• The story is decent and simple
• Some content is easy enough to spot
• The character remains true to her identity

The In-between

• It would've been nice with a quest marker outside the door if content was available inside
• Not all quests are lewd in nature, which is nice. However more lewd quests or ordinary quests that could branch into lewd quests would've been nice

The Bad

• The porn content is mediocre at best
• All other characters than the MC are just various shadows. This makes it hard to be attached to your possible enemies

In the end I decided to revise my rating to 5 stars. I was captivated by the story and found it interesting. That is quite rare for me in RPGM games.

short, standard corruption game. I really like the art and the scenes are okay. The corruption is good. It doesn't just come out of nowhere, there events progress with the NPCs so you have context which is great. What I also really like is while it's a corruption game, even when the mc is really low on reason (the corruption stat in this game) and is enjoying the sex, she isn't a psychopath babbling about dicks nonstop. When the events are over she's embarrassed and shows some shame but is still the strong willed MC trying to do the right thing. It's a great dynamic.

The actual gameplay is a bunch of minigames where you just run around clicking things or puzzles which is fine. Simple, but gets the job done.

Obviously wish there were more scenes and variety but that's always the case with good games. Definitely a little a gem of a game. Hope the dev does more.

That's a very standard RPGM game. Everything is pretty average. One bonus is pretty nice gameplay and story. Scenes are pretty nice for a mass produced game.

Not a bad game. Easy to clear and open all scenes without grinding (it took me less than 2 hours). After clearing the game you can watch scenes that you have not got in recollection room (i won ellections, thats why have not got lose-scenes). The drawing is nice, but not many H scenes.

Short game that I liked more than expected.
The game is short, has only one female character, is not very original, you just have to go around the city in search of events, badly made minigames, basic maps, and other flaws.
Despite everything I can be satisfied with the game. Main female character that I liked a lot, both for the very vanilla aesthetic (as I like it), and for the characterization. Of course, being a short game don't expect a perfect characterization, but at least it makes sense, she doesn't do random things because it just has to happen, like in many other games.
I recommend the game!

Really good short game, most of the minigames were good. Only had to cheat for the mouse game 3 and wasn't a fan of the running scenes in general but overall great. Did virgin clear first which shows the "game" itself was good, despite the MTL. If this gets official translation might actually buy just to support the dev for the good work even if the game is too short to play too many times.

A good game, but it's not that good. Most of them are just exploring.

1. Story felt empty
- The game was good on first-half ( on storyline ), when in gameplay, this game felt dead.

2. Dead City
- The city was very empty, it's like they're in the middle of a survival. There's barely any people.

3. Bad MTL
- of course it is.

Anyway, this game is fun on some part ( gameplay, h-scene )

Not recommended.

As pretty basic and bog standard of a H RPGmaker game can be. Search for the flags/triggers and the scene plays except there are some really annoying minigames you have to do to raise your rating. Art is nice but the game design and scenario are nothing special.

OK game, if you like corruption, this one might be fun. Not that many CGs but the art is good, gameplay focuses on exploration and completing short quests, some have minigames but none of the quests are deep or long, you can finish the game in just a few hours. The MTL is pretty good, i could understand everything pretty easily.
My main problems with the game is that the MC doesn't feel really corrupted when you reach the end game, she is still pretty reluctant and some of the characters you can interact don't have a satisfying conclusion.

very basic game, around 2 hours play time, linear story with 3 different endings.
Good art, half decent corruption system and 'most' of the mini games are will implemented.
If you are into vanilla corruption, this is a decent game to play if you have fuck all else to play.

Pretty ok little corruption game. Plot is super standard. Girl needs to do x so she eventually uses her body to do things blah blah boring story built in.

8 1-offs h scenes and then 8 groups of 3 stage h scenes. Going from naive to corrupt, but only the final scene in the sequence is sex for the most part so you don't get to see her corrupt very much. The art is pretty enjoyable, basically what you see in OPs screenshots of the post. The dialogue is pretty decent, its MTL editited to be barely passable, good enough that I wasn't ever confused but not anything above that.

You go around finding scenes and doing minigames for people. I found all of the minigames to be of a reasonable difficulty, nothing crazy. Trigger conditions or quests are never too confusing imo.

A few bugs left in that crashed me twice, one in the top right or recall room and one with the stalker guy in his first events, so make sure to save, but in general not too bad.

Basically if you're in the mood to see some girl get corrupt in an okayish not amazing grammar 2 hour game, check this out. Definitely not a must play though. Maybe I'd give this a 3 but I personally love me some corruption games.

Oh yeah and gallery unlocks after any clear, which is nice.

MTL is edited enough to be negligible (menu is okay and you would know where to go throughout the game), Art is really good, story is staple exploration but would pass as decent. Game is a bit grindy, the puzzle and minigames could be irritating to some, but CG is unlockable so it's all good.
